  I found a screw in my tire on a long drive home, and Belle Tire wouldn't help me. Jim at Tuffy helped me immediately and got me in as soon as possible so I could get back on the road and pick up my kids. I am so grateful to this location of Tuffy and I will absolutely choose them over Belle Tire going forward! Thank you for fixing my tire and helping get me home safe!

  The other day on my way in to work I got a piece of jagged metal in my tire. It was rapidly going flat, and I live about 40 miles away from East Lansing, so I was looking for someplace to assist me in town. I stopped at Tuffy and the guys were so great. They pulled someone off of a scheduled job and got my car in to be looked at right away. The damage was so bad they were not able to patch the tire, but they did quickly get me a replacement tire and put it on for me right away. They were super helpful and kind while I was waiting for the work to be done. Super grateful I was able to get in, I had stopped at a competitor shop down the road first who had a 2-day wait time.... I will be returning to them for regularly schedule tire replacement in the future!

  Called in at 8:05 am, gave them the diagnostic code, and requested the throttle body to get serviced. They quoted me $175, and said it would be done before the end of the day. After no call back that they planned to keep my car, I get a call the next day, and get quoted $775 in repairs, when I rightfully got upset, and expressed that multiple local shops had quoted me the same thing they originally had. His reply was that he doesn't compete with online prices and if I didn't like it I could DO IT MYSELF.... I am disabled.... I struggled, but for a $5 can of throttle body cleaner and an hour of my time. I did DO IT MYSELF thanks for saving me the $770...

  I had a terrifying moment when my tire blew out suddenly on my way to Sam's Club. I was in a complete panic, but luckily I made it to Tuffy. Even though I was a stranger in a desperate situation, the team here was incredibly kind and helpful. They installed my temporary spare tire for FREE and took the time to give me essential safety advice for driving on a spare. Their professional and caring attitude completely calmed me down. It’s rare to find such genuine kindness these days. I can't thank them enough for looking out for my safety. If you want honest and compassionate service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

  I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic after I noticed it hesitating when I accelerated while driving. No check engine light was on, so I wasn’t sure what was going on, and the hesitating seemed to have stopped. I still wanted to have my car looked at though. After running the diagnostics, Dale came out and asked me a few questions about the issue. He said that the diagnostics came back all clear and he suggested that maybe I had gotten a bad batch of gasoline. Which made so much sense, because I had gassed up twice after making the initial appointment, and the hesitating had stopped. They didn’t even charge me for the diagnostics, gave me advice on how to clear out my fuel line, and even put my new license plate on! This is a great auto repair center, and I appreciate the honesty and kindness of the owner. People like that are hard to find nowadays! I only bring my vehicles to Tuffys when they need maintenance. Thank you, Frandor Tuffys!
