  This is a great soft cloth car wash. The Works is expensive, but it's a fabulous wash and wax.

  I love Tommy’s car wash! I make the extra bit of a drive to come here because other car washes I notice leave water spots or residue. Olivia was especially helpful today by explaining to me the difference between the different options and she sold me on the #1 deal. She even gave my dog a treat! :)

  Tommy’s Express is a great, reasonably priced car wash here in Lansing. I have been a wash club member since the chain opened their first location on Waverly and Saginaw and have been pleased with their services thus far. It is also worth noting each time I have had to interact with the staff at Tommy’s Express, my requests have been handled with urgency and care. I would like to give a special shoutout to Matt Barron for his exceptional service and leadership qualities. While visiting the wash location, there was an issue I needed resolved on my account. While working through my situation, the associate working with me requested assistance and Matt jumped in without hesitation providing insight and guidance into the problem. Matt is the exemplar of what exceptional member service and team collaboration should be, and Tommy’s Express is lucky to have him on their team.

  I’m a current member and Turo host with 3 current vehicles at this Tommy’s Express location and plan to continue my memberships as my fleet expands, but there are some ongoing issues that need to be addressed. The equipment is frequently unreliable...car mat cleaning machines are often down, and the vacuums either don’t have good suction or aren’t working at all for multiple days at a time. These are core features of the membership, so it’s frustrating when they’re consistently unavailable. On top of that, I had a negative interaction with an employee today (Micah). Since the mat cleaners weren’t working again, I rang the bell for assistance. I had set down two mats and was grabbing the other two from my car when he arrived, and I was immediately berated for not handing them to him...even though I wasn’t even physically at the mats when he came around the corner. I wasn’t ignoring him, just in the middle of getting my mats. The interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional and my mats weren't even returned to me sprayed off...they were COVERED with soap. I like the convenience of this location and want to keep using it, but the equipment reliability and customer service need improvement. Update: It's been a week and the carmat cleaners are still not fixed... Half the vacuums are down... And the owner continues to not respond to any negative reviews or fix anything.

  I’ve had a lot of good experiences here, But not until I actually got my very first Car wash month subscription. So when I signed up for the subscription, I noticed that every time I went through the wash, it smelt like a sewer, mind you I only went three times out of my subscription. The first time I went, I noticed a weird smell going through the car wash and then the next two times I came back, i noticed the smell again, its a really funky smell with their water! When they spray your car it start smelling real bad, I’m not blaming that they couldn’t control how it smelled, I just didn’t want to smell that every time I get my car washed! I’m blaming them for refusing to refund me when I canceled my subscription, I could not have at least half of a refund. They would not give me my money back at all because they said I pretty much used there services and I canceled on my own (so what)…. everyone cancels subscriptions and are able to finish out the remaining of the month because they paid for the whole month! I Only Had the Subscription for a week but only used the services three times and could not be refunded. I had to fill a dispute with my bank, because this term and condition is not acceptable for any business that’s doing monthly subscriptions. It states on their list of services that it is a full month, plus when I canceled on the app they stated my subscription plan would deactivated on April 25th because I brought it on March 25th. When you get any monthly subscription from any business, And if you cancel early, that business let you finish out your whole month. They still have to honor that! For whatever reason they didn’t want to honor that! It’s saying scam. I didn’t pay for one single wash. I paid for a full month!
