- DWDM WMNov 11, 20251.0Took my vehicle to Holt Auto Service for maintenance and an inspection on 10/17/25 for a 10/20/25 appt. A text message delay was sent to my phone delaying my service visit by one day. On 10/21/25 my vehicle maintenance bill was paid in full, but not all of my requested and preauthorized maintenance was performed. I found installation errors right away. My transmission dipstick was installed backwards and my rear upper strut mounting nuts were loose causing a squeeking and clunking noise on both brand new struts. I also had a new coolant leak (?) and there was grease all over the carpet in the back cargo area from the rear strut replacements. The vehicle is light beige on light beige so the grease really stood out. The vehicle had a full detail before this service visit and it was all clean! I then discovered that at least three of ten lug nuts were over torqued by 40 ft. lbs. each. It had been verbally agreed upon that this shop was going to properly tighten the nuts and bolts with a torque wrench. This conversation was with Dustan. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone due to these issues. I've also filed a complaint with the Costco Auto Program as they had referred this shop as meeting their higher service standards. L. I've read this shops responses to other low star reviews and I'm willing to go on record with this review because every word is 100% true and I will defend these words even if they are rebutted.
