Waited over 45 minutes because when one of the many customers ahead of me said that I could go because he felt bad that I’ve been waiting and was already in the store way before them, the cashier said, “I’d rather take care of /actual/ customers first” because me and the lady before me wanted the free diagnostic test to be done. So we waited nearly indefinitely because new customers would trickle in after the others were served until I pulled up a chair and sat there, exasperated… another employee came out and finally did the test for the other person and then me. Well, I would’ve been a paying customer, I would’ve bought a new battery right then, but I will never go to AutoZone again because I’ve had a similar experience in the one nearby too. (I admit I give off a pushover vibe, but that doesn’t mean I like being pushed aside and made to feel unworthy of acknowledgment!) :,(
