I bought new wiper blades here last week, the clerk put them on as it was slow and they wanted something to do. I then went to Ann Arbor over the weekend, by the time I got to Jackson on my way home it was raining, and the DS wiper blade came off, I found an Advance Auto not far from 94 and 127, explained I had just bought wipers in Lansing and the clerk installed, they (may have been the manager?) Replaced for free. I'll plan to due more business with Advance Auto after my interaction with the Jackson store as well.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
