They told me it was a timing chain issue (I came in and told them that it was dumping my RPMs, clearly a transmission issue) and charged me $1300 + labor for basically nothing. They told me they flagged engine issues, of course they did, every car does. When that $1500 timing chain BS didn’t fix the issue, they charged me another $2600 to actually fix the problem. Never ever giving this place any business again after that asinine waste of time and money. Go to Lansing Radiator & Repair if you want a quality, transparent experience.

A & J transmission not only took a look at my car but they gave a detailed explanation about what was happening and educated me on what to look out for to prevent further damage. They absolutely could have upcharged me for services I did not need but instead they took the time to make sure I felt safe in my vehicle without unnecessary work being done. I will be returning for any future work that needs done on my car!
