    My son is in GR 7 hours from home having issues on a Sunday. Website says they’re open, called the number provided and made an appt. Son shows up, no one is there. Called the number back (apparently an answering service) who says they are supposed to be open. SHE calls, no answer. Fix the website, communicate with your answering service, put a note on the door for crying out loud - but do better.

    I got a engine diagnostic from auto Zone to see why my check engine light was on Auto zone said it was my air filter sensor and the next day took it to Monro Auto on 12/04/25 they also inspected and stated it was giving them the same code. they called me to pick up my car later that afternoon when I went to pick it up the check engine light was still on so I asked the gentleman to clear the code when he plugged in his scanner my car started revving and the rpms were going up and down while in park his device showed new codes that weren’t there when they first worked on it. he pulled the car back into the shop and told me that I needed to take it somewhere else for the work. I stated it shouldn’t be doing the activities it currently was after replacing the Mass air flow sensor considering it only had the one message before they worked on it. My car was running worse than when I brought it in to them. The next day 12/05/25 I talked with the manager Jerry after I inspected my car and noticed when my heat was on it sounded like my car had an airplane inside and was shaking more than it ever has. he said he would talk to his general manager on Monday about a refund and stated he only had one licensed mechanic and he wouldn’t be in again til Tuesday. On Tuesday 12/09/25 I called to ask if they had tried replacing the sensor to see if it was a faulty sensor or even looked over my car and he stated his mechanic would be out til Thursday due to a family emergency. I did not receive any updates on my car on Thursday 12/11/25 so I called them on Friday 12/12/25 to ask about my car once more. Micah had answered the phone and told me that the mechanic has not been able to look at my car because they were busy with people who actually had appointments that they wouldn’t be able to get to it til Saturday 12/13/25 I asked if a manager was present that I could talk to considering I had been waiting on my car for the last week and felt like I wasn’t a priority to them. It seemed like they were just giving me a run around after damaging my car with the work they did. Jerry came on the phone and stated that they hadn’t looked it over and when I had asked for a refund or the number for his general manager he told me he didn’t have a general manager and talked to the guy above that even though on Friday 12/05/25 that is who he said he needed to talk to for my refund. He proceeded to give me customer cares number. I called customer care services the woman on the phone would not process my refund and left me on hold for 15-20 minutes while she was talking to the shop. at this point I was dissatisfied with the customer service they had given and wanted my money back. I brought my car to their shop and only had one code and when going to pick up my car had many more issues after what they made seem like a simple repair. When I got off work on 12/12/25 I went to Monro in person and as I spoke with Jerry he kept contradicting himself saying they had looked at my car and the problems weren’t because of their mechanic even though before he and his employee stated they hadn’t looked at it. He made it seem like I left my car there all week for no reason even though he told me to leave it with them and their mechanic would look it over hence why they had my keys and my car sat in their parking lot for a week. Intel he could see I was in visible distress he made it seem like he could not submit a refund. As I was in front of him crying because I was under so much stress he finally submitted a request… yet another contradicted moment because all along that’s what he could have done but he acted like he did not have those capabilities. Save your time and money and go somewhere else they don’t care about their customers and their mechanic will only make your car worse.

    Team was able to fit me in last minute to change out seized wheel lugs that other mechanics in the area were unable to do. Excellent customer service, great team there!
