- EMElizabeth MartinApr 10, 20265.0I’ve been a loyal Uncle Ed’s customer since I got my first car, but after living in Grand Rapids for several years (where they unfortunately don't have any locations), I really missed the reliable service. I just moved back to Kalamazoo a week ago and to make a long story short I was spiraling because I thought Quick Lube in GR had installed the wrong filter and caused a leak. I took my car into Uncle Ed’s to see if they could help, and they were so nice and helpful. They didn't try to sell me a new service I didn't need; they actually listened, checked my oil levels, and hunted for leaks. They even found that my air filter had been installed incorrectly by the previous shop and fixed it for me. They found my car was a quart low and topped it off for an inexpensive cost. They completely calmed my fears! I am relieved to be back where the service is honest, dependable, and genuinely friendly. If you want people that actually care about your car and your peace of mind, this is the place to go. This is the location that I have used the most but I have been to different locations, even one in Warren Michigan and have always had a decent experience.
