The staff at the Kalamazoo location was very helpful and friendly. My only concern was the lack of tread on the tires for winter weather.

I usually use this location. I had a friend use this location for a week+ rental. He left his vehicle in their lot for the week. He came back to a broken window and signs that someone had been sleeping in his car. When he told the manager, he was offered $20. For a BROKEN WINDOW that happened on your property?! He called corporate and was told it was up to the manager to deal with. He left a review and was asked for a follow-up, which went nowhere. As if the response on Google reviews was only for show. Since Enterprise won't take this seriously, I will not only be switching locations, I will be switching companies for my rental needs and will be helping my friends and family do the same. I will hold this company accountable by spreading the word to anyone looking for a rental, whether I know them or not.

You wont believe this. I rented a car every week for over a month to help me do my new job as an inspector. Pretty great customer, I thought. So I made a reservation, for an upcoming week's rental starting Sunday at 11:30; work the following day. I had rented from enterprise every week non stop for over a month... I showed up and the terrible employee, Colon, informed me that my reservation would not be honored due to my being a "risk". Obviously, panic overcame me, as my employer expected me in Ohio the next day. "Why!?" I desperately asked Colon, about to lose my job. He glibbly said he didnt know. I asked "is there anyone i can talk to??? To find out?!". "Nope." He said matter a factly. I think my desperation amused him. "You can email our risk department" he said. No remorse in his voice. So I asked, " so you allowed to me to make reservation that you would not honor?" "Well, we dont check your license on reservation" clearly my pain was the highlight of his day... kindof sad. "And you cant tell me why?! Cause when I dropped off the car, yall said I was all good and I haven't been notified of any do- not-rent policy?" "I cant tell you why you are a risk" he lied. So after being dropped off at enterprise 30 minutes before close in a blizzard with no transportation, I was desperately emailing the So called "risk" department address that he hand wrote for me. After desperately emailing with no response and work in 14 hours over 200 miles away, I asked Colon again "is there NOBODY I can talk to? You are about to close and I will lose my job over this. I would atleast like to know why my reservation will not be honored." "There is no one. And I cant figure out why. You have to email our risk department" he lied. So I sat in enterprise past close. Ive been helped by nothing but kind competent people since renting there. So when Colon stepped out, I asked a young lady "is there a manager i could talk to?" She said "Colon is the manager." Fear and dread in her eyes. Well at this point I knew I had him. What I was dealing with wasn't Incompetence, which would be excusable.... what i was dealing with was malice. At this point, I knew I had him. So I walked up to the cash register at 12.15, 15 minutes past close, after they had finished honoring everyone else's reservations. I very obviously hit record on my phone, so they would know not to lie. I asked the same questions and Colon's subordinate, with Colon standing right by, was able to explain that I had been placed on a risk list because of a late rental return(which i paid for in full and was told would not be an issue). Well, Colon thats interesting. Im genuinely worried for the subordinate's job. Colon was not happy that his subordinate did his job and gave me the information that I feel i was entitled to as a proven good customer. I still have yet to receive response from the so-called only outlet for info I have, that Colin gave me. It has been 3 days and the Michigan risk department has not responded to my inquiry... no wonder my BS alarms went off when Colon told my my reservation would not be honored. Colon isn't fit to sit in the cars you rent let alone manage your great staff. I'd be willing to bet this isn't your first mishap, Colon, and I'll gleefully report your behavior, as gleefully as you told me you wouldn't honor my reservation and couldnt tell me why! :D oooops!

car smelled horrible paid 95 to get it detailed, the got charged by enterprise to detail it again. so 145 extra for cleaning. Will not be renting again this is the 3rd time at this location I've had some sorta issue with. I've been a customer for over 20 years, so not the company, just this particular location.

Don’t waste your time. Over the past 2 months, I’ve booked 5 vehicles (no exaggeration) with a minimum rental time of 2 weeks via their website and EVERY time, I received a call 30-60 min later stating that they couldn’t fulfill the accommodation. I’m 0 for 5 with enterprise. Their on line inventory isn’t a true reflection of what they have. No longer utilizing them for corporate fleet needs.
