  I had gotten my oil changed nearby and they informed me that I had a bubble in my tire. I went to Monro because they were the only place still open and the technician stayed late past close to replace two of my tires. Super nice people!

  Great experience at Monroe. I’ve come in twice and had nothing but a fabulous experience. I’m new to the area and was so worried to find a shop I could trust. Adam was beyond kind, helpful, and fast. They’ve gotten me in same day each time over called and I was out of the shop in under a hour. Couldn’t recommend them more!

  I brought my vehicle in expecting a simple front brake job and was initially quoted around $250. Shortly after, I received a call saying that a long list of additional work was “needed,” and the estimate suddenly jumped to over $2,000. The whole situation felt very shady and uncomfortable. It seemed like a classic bait-and-switch...quote a low price to get you in the door, then dramatically increase the cost once they have your vehicle. I only asked for front brakes, and the amount of extra work they claimed felt excessive and hard to trust. I left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me bc I am a woman rather than provide honest service. I would recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work here.

  We had a very frustrating experience overall. We initially brought our car in to have a tire repaired, along with an oil change. We dropped it off earlier in the day Saturday and were told the work might take all day, which we understood. When the work ran late, we encountered another issue: payment could not be made over the phone, leaving us with no way to retrieve the car after hours. The next day, we checked online and saw that the shop was listed as open. We also called that day and were able to speak with someone, who confirmed the shop was open, but when we arrived, it was closed. The fact that the phone was answered while the shop was closed, and that incorrect information was provided, is concerning and suggests their calls are handled by a third-party service without accurate or up-to-date business information. After eventually making another trip and finally getting the car home, the tire went flat again the next day on the way to work. When we called to clarify what had been done, we were told that no issue had been found with the tire, and therefore no repair had been performed. Unfortunately, this was never communicated to us at the time of pickup. This resulted in even more lost time, including having to arrange a tow to get home. I had already felt the price was high for the services requested, but that was especially frustrating given that only one of them was actually completed. Overall, the lack of communication, inaccurate information, and failure to complete or clearly explain the requested services made this a very disappointing experience.
