- MSMichael SchlickerDec 6, 20251.0If I could give Monro zero stars, I would. I got a slow leak in one of my tires a couple of weekends ago and Monro was able to get me in at the last minute. I paid my 17 bucks for a replacement valve stem and was on my way. The following Monday (two days later), I got another tire pressure warning light so I went to my regular mechanic (Shout out to Automotive Solutions up in Georgetown plaza for getting me fixed up properly) and they got me fixed up immediately. Turns out, a screw was left in my tire AND my valve stem needed to be replaced despite Monro claiming to have replaced it two days prior. I went into Monro with receipts from them and my normal mechanic to file a complaint and try to get my money back; the person behind the counter did not seem concerned about a refund (he told me "it's above my pay grade") but I left my cell phone number and was told that I'd be receiving a call back. Well, it's been about two weeks and I've heard nothing from them. It may not be much but I'll be telling everyone I know about this and if I can dissuade even one person from going to Monro, then I'll be satisfied. Hope the 17 bucks was worth it, guys.
