  I drive a decent distance to have my car serviced and any repairs done here because their pricing is competitive and the customer service has been outstanding.

  Went in to check on the brakes!They were ok,then they did a full inspection! Told me what was wrong, and gave me a repair price! They were honest!

  Tuffy was my go to place for a long time. Steve at Tuffy always took good care of me and my vehicles. I was always satisfied with their service. That is until I went to get my usual oil change last time. I can only assume that they had a new guy there, a real newbie, inexperienced, totally inept, new hire guy there. My last change was done previously by a guy at my church, Bruce was a master mechanic with 50 plus years of experience and he taught Mechanics at the college level. He had a home shop that would rival an Indy pit crew. Anyway Bruce passed away after my last oil change and so I went to back to Tuffy...big mistake. After the oil change I noticed what had been written on my receipt "oil plug leaks, new oil pan needed. " and cost breakdown of labor and materials for this. I was shocked... there is no way on earth that Bruce cross threaded that drain plug! So the new guy cross threaded the oil pan plug and left me with a leaky car and tried to sell me on a whole new oil pan and set up. I asked Bruces widow if I she would let me work on my car to fix the issue. A trip to NAPA for a universal drain plug and some of Bruces spare miscellany parts that he had in some jars and I made a universal pressure fit drain plug that works perfectly. While under the car I saw the botched job on the oil pan that the newbie did. Not only did he botch it royally, but he forgot to reset the dash odometer, flashing idiot lights. Adding insult to injury, yes I paid for the oil change only to replace it all a few weeks later when I replaced the drain plug. I cannot conceive how such a simple thing like screwing an oilplug back in could be done so poorly.
