- LMLouis C. Wyoming MedeirosMar 19, 20261.0Where to begin! Ordered a 5.3 engine which sales representative Dexter claimed had 75k miles, and if I placed the order it came with a 6 month warranty. That began a long and continuous line of bait and switch tactics. The engine arrived and was installed only to lose compression in number 7 cylinder after one week. I retrieved the original paperwork to file a claim and found a tag stating the mileage as 183,000 miles, also the warranty stated as 90 days not 6 months. When calling Jasc motors the auto attendant states that all calls are recorded. I contracted Isaac in the warranty department and was told that the recording would be reviewed. After being told that another engine would be sent out if I agreed to pay the shipping cost and receiving emails that the replacement engine was going forward, I today received a phone call from Isaac stating that the engine would not be sent until I paid another $1300.00. This is the condensed version of this bate and switch debacle, I will post the mileage sticker that came with the engine as well as more of the blow by blow lies that I endured before being told by Issac to take it or leave it!
