Brought in one of my Saab 9–5s for a wheel alignment. The technicians were helpful in addressing issues that may have caused the misalignment and recommendations on how to improve the issue. But the adjustments done were excellent and helped fix much of the misalignment. The team was timely, responsive, and did not charge for the additional assessment time and education. I will gladly take my Saabs back to GR motor car in the future.

Imagine a car repair shop that feels more like a well-run doctor’s office than a greasy garage. The floors are clean, the tools are neatly arranged, and the waiting area is orderly and comfortable. The staff explains things patiently, in plain language, without rushing you or making you feel talked down to. They take time to understand your concerns before recommending any repairs. Prices are fair—not the rock-bottom cheapest, but transparent and competitive. The work is done when promised, and the car comes back running smoothly. If the technicians notice something else that could use attention, they mention it honestly, letting you decide when or whether to take care of it rather than pushing a sale.

Superior service. I stopped by GR Motorcar to schedule a few services, one being a burned out front headlight that needed a bulb replacement. Though it was very close to closing time they said they didn’t want me to leave without that replaced- called to get the bulb delivered & replaced it. We scheduled the remaining work needed for 2 days later.
When later serviced they did a thorough inspection and outlined clearly what might be needed. They immediately understood I wanted essentials done & did not go overboard to push other costly items that could wait ( my Prius had almost 200,000 miles & is running well, but I’m trying to decide whether to replace car soon or wait).
All staff were very friendly, upfront, and explained everything clearly. Communication was easy and straightforward. Thank you!

The receptionist, service manager, technician, and GM all came together and solved the problems I was having with my 2016 Q5. (140,000 miles old). And they completed the job at a good price. I would highly recommend GR Motors on 29th in Grand Rapids.
