Not sure if it is all the repairs shop fault but my expectation of a repair shop is to look after my interests, offer me options, and communicate what those options are with the costs. This repair shop did none of that. Initially replaced the windshield with a non manufactured replacement which they could not calibrate. Previously, they would ask if I wanted a cheaper windshield and had to seek an authorization from the insurance company to do the replacement using the authorized windshield. It costs more due to the sensors embedded in the windshield. So after failing to calibrate the windshield, not mention the extended wait time, to only be sent home with the incorrect windshield and none of the sensors working (plus the exposed wiring behind the rear view mirror-they could not get the cap back on) they needed to get authorization AND order the windshield. It would take another week. After getting the authorization and ordering the correct windshield THE REPAIR shop scheduled an appointment without checking with me, just leaving a message. When returning the message to indicate that THEIR scheduled appointment would not work, the next opening would be ANOTHER week away. Not sure who runs and owns this business but to say the least, I will not be returning to this shop, I will another company to work with if the need arises again. On a side note, they parked my car next to their dumpster, where there was broken glass all underneath the front end….really?

I made an appointment through the 1-800 number. They told me the appointment was at 0900, the local store had it at 0800. I showed up at 0845 and was turned away. The employee was rude and unprofessional. He said he just moved on to other appointments and by shifting those appointments into my slot, he still didn't have any openings later in the day. So because of the mix-up, I made his day much more productive and screwed me over. He had my phone number and didn't want to call and check on my status. So much for a small business, quality has dropped off significantly here. I don't think that their misscheduling over the phone and mismanagement in the office should affect me when we have opportunities to come together and get in the middle.
