12-09-2025: I hate leaving negative reviews and don't do it often! But when you repeatedly give a company the opportunity to make things right and provide customers with professional customer service and customer appreciation and they fail miserably, well, I guess here I go!
Newly opened Grand Blanc location, and corporate, offered nothing but horrid customer service. Corporate never even had the decency to call me back after I called and emailed them on multiple occasions. This car wash has damaged two of my vehicles by bending and pulling out my license plates, although it's anchored on one vehicle with 4 bolts, ripped off a window molding from the same vehicle which is a late model Lincoln, and license plate damage on another vehicle. The molding replacement cost me over $700 and even the dealership was amazed that a car wash would have caused that type of damage! Several employees have informed me that this is not an isolated incident and it has happened with numerous customers. One license plate is in the center of my later model vehicle (anchored by four screws), and the other is on the left side, secured by two big bolts. Repeatedly complained about brushes hitting the vehicle way too hard. You can feel your vehicle jolt from side to side as the brushes hit the car. Perhaps other complaints of scratches are legitimate? I haven't noticed that on my vehicles, but fortunately I haven't been a member for too long.
Management of this location informed me they would adjust the weights after my numerous complaints, but still experienced the same problem over and over again. Called corporate. They didn't think it was important enough to follow up and address the issue further, but had their manager (Daniel) call me who also did nothing but accuse me of having after-market equipment and that they are not responsible. I even had an employee (Gary) physically look at my license plate before I went in to confirm it wasn't bent (after bending it back in shape myself), and had him look at it when I exited. Sure enough, my plate was bent AGAIN. I'm sorry, but license plate locations from the manufacturer are not "after-market" accessories. These are designed and manufactured with all their vehicles.
I find it amusing how many replies to Google reviews from this outfit, they reiterate how seriously they take claims. I'm calling BS! They do nothing of the sort because if they did, corporate would have returned one of my numerous messages IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to having some young gopher handle their problem, then make accusatory remarks and further insult my intelligence!
Furthermore, it's very difficult to get a hold of anyone at corporate compared to their major competition! I will be going back to them and they have about 50 locations throughout Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and other Counties. I never had an issue with ANY of their car washes in over 10 years of having my unlimited membership with them. Only reason I cancelled with them is because we moved to Genesee county and it was more convenient to get our car washed close to home.
This place does not care about their customers or engaging in any type of customer service, especially legitimate issues. Hey Tommy...never ignore your customers and legitimate complaints, then accuse a license plate location and steel license frame as being an "after-market accessory!" Your equipment damaged my license plate with no license plate frame! A frame around a license plate should curtail that kind of damage that much more. Seriously?!!!
Watch, if this outfit replies to my review, they will state they don't have a user with this name. Well, the letter 'A' is used in my first name as well as my last name. I just don't get in the habit of posting my legal name for all of the internet to see as I value my privacy and have a right to leave a legitimate review on what I call BS! I'll wait and respond if needed. BUYER/USER BEWARE!
