Went into Al Serra service department today 01/09/2026 for my 2019 Chevy Silverado. My infotainment Screen went out. I didn’t have an appointment. I was only wanting to troubleshoot. I was met by Michele the Service advisor. I was afraid of paying a hefty Diagnostic fee which is usually 200$ at other places. No charge for the diagnostic! I was patiently sitting waiting for a quote on what needed to be done. As I was waiting and elderly woman had fell on the stairs and cut her head open pretty bad. I got up from my seat to render aid to the elderly woman. Multiple Al Serra employees did the same. With the medical training I have, I directed the Al Serra employees to get gloves and medical supplies out of their first aid kit. The employees of Al Serra that worked to help stop the bleeding and stayed with the elderly woman and myself are what it means to be there for your fellow American no matter what. This goes above and beyond customer service, they held them very professionally and collectively. Myself coming from a Military background and a fireman saying they deserve recognition is an understatement. After the lady was taken by EMS. Michele came up to me and apologized for the wait and that Al Serra will be helping me with the bill. For standing by their Employees sides and helping a fellow customer, Al Serra took a roughly 2,800$ shop bill down to 500$ for me. I was in shock, really didn’t know what to say at the time. I personally thank Al Serra for having your customers backs. This exemplifies customer service. You guys have gained a forever customer with me. I hope higher ups in GM and your dealership read this and send credit to those who deserve it!

I had minor damage hitting a deer with my 2009 Chevrolet Silverado. They had the truck in the shop for three weeks, when I got the truck back there were parts missing and I’m having a hard time communicating with the service department. They’re not returning my calls. Outside of that the part they did fix does look good, in the previous work I’ve had done on. It remains to look good. I went back because of their guarantee. I’m not happy with a present service.

My husband and I recently bought a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 at Al Serra Chevrolet in Grand Blanc Michigan. We've been buying vehicles at Al Serra Chevrolet for many, many years, always receiving wonderful customer service. Our salesperson has been Kristen Smith for many of those years, she is like family to us and our children. When our cars are running out of steam or a car accident causes our family trouble, Al Serra is our first thought and Kristen always our first choice. Kristen makes things so easy to understand, she is so caring and thoughtful of every detail of our car buying experience. We laugh and joke just like family. Kristen Smith is the best!!

I brought my vehicle in to be serviced for a check engine light and traction control service light. I was told that there was nothing wrong and they could not find anything. Picked it up and then had to bring it back 3 different times for the same service lights and was told the same thing. This cost me EVERY TIME I brought it in.
On the 4th visit for the exact same situation, I was told it was a cracked head. I had it repaired and paid AGAIN. The first time I drove my vehicle after picking it up, the same services lights came on. It broke down right after the service lights came and I was on the expressway. I had to wait for a tow truck and PAID FOR THAT!! My vehicle was then towed back to Al Serra. Then I was told it was the cam shaft. Had that fixed and AGAIN paid for it. When I picked up my vehicle from having the cam shaft replaced, the check engine light was on when they brought it out to me. I was told that the light was not cleared after they test drove it, and that it was fine and not bringing up any codes. However The first time I drive it after picking it up THE SAME LIGHT CAME BACK ON AGAIN!!
