Repeat customer here. I return because the manager Ryan genuinely cares about the customer. They’re knowledgeable about vehicles and take care of the customer.

Ryan was a pleasure to work with. The service guys found a leak and let me know right away. I purchased a new battery while I was there also.

As someone who knows NOTHING about tires/cars I always felt welcome. Have gotten tires actually replaced here, as well as remounted/etc., after hitting a Michigan pot hole, but they didn’t try to upsell me at all, told me exactly what was wrong, (I bent my rim so my tire wouldn’t hold air), told me how/where to fix it, and were very courteous and “straight shooters”, ended up saving me a bunch of money on a whole new wheel by letting me weld the old one back into repair. (For reference, used Del Duca in Burton for the weld job). Also recommend those guys. Anyway, as for Monro, really affordable prices and great service!!! Would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

Would leave zero if possible. I work on my own stuff in my driveway normally but with temps around 0° lately I took my gf’s car here on a recommendation from my step dad. Car needed a simple heater core flush, to which Ryan without even looking at it and using 3rd party info with a slight attitude says “it doesn’t need that”. Weird how one heater line was scolding hot and one was ice cold and the car had no heat. Nope not a heater core flush I guess.
Also had a tpms sensor need replacing and all 4 relearned. Well you could tell he didn’t want to use customer supplied parts because as soon as the words left my mouth he starts in with “well if it will work with my machine” (which unless he’s using a dinosaur or regularly uses cheap sensors it shouldn’t be an issue considering they’re THE MOST COMMON FREQUENCY sensors) to which I said I didn’t care I wanted the sensor replaced anyway because the light is already on and I have other means of doing the relearn but don’t have a tire machine to replace the faulty sensor. I explained that all 4 weren’t reading due to failing a prior relearn where the faulty sensor was discovered and that if he couldn’t do the relearn fine but I wanted the sensor replaced anyway which he didn’t wanna do and tried selling me on one of their sensors. Yea no upsale here. Put my sensor in.
Well he calls me later in the day saying they couldn’t do the heater core flush because the heater lines have quick disconnects. Not sure why that would be an issue seeing as 95% of vehicles produced in the last 25-30 years have quick disconnects. Told me none of the sensor were reading (wow almost like i told you that up front) and didn’t replace the faulty sensor like asked. Its crazy how they use every bs excuse to not do the job rather than just saying no up front. Took me all of about 30 minutes to flush the heater core and refill the system in my driveway.
If they can’t listen to the customer or figure out how to put a hose over a heater core line meant for a quick disconnect im not sure i’d want them doing much of anything to my vehicles. Stick to tires, anything else is a waste of time.
Ps: i can show you how to put a hose on if you want just give me a call
