  The team at LaFontaine Volvo was really helpful for us. Specifically Brad took care of all of our needs and communicated frequently so we knew where our vehicle stood with their service. The service manager Joy also checked in with us to make sure our experience met our expectations. Beyond the service I want others to know that I don’t even own a Volvo, but this dealership was able to give me the best deal for new tires. I was always told to never get service at a dealership, however the team at LaFontaine Volvo showed me that that is an old paradigm. Do yourself a favor and check with LaFontaine Volvo for high level service and great prices.

  I drove three hours with my entire family from out of state to visit this dealership specifically to see a Volvo XC90 that I had confirmed was available. I made appointment last week with the dealership aware I was driving 3 hours out of state. I also confirmed with dealership day before. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived. The parking lot was cluttered and disorganized, making it difficult to even find a place to park. After finally meeting with the salesperson, he had to go locate the vehicle and casually mentioned that it hadn’t been cleaned yet. Which was surprising given that the dealership knew I had driven three hours to see it. Once I got inside the vehicle, it was clear it had not been prepared at all. The interior was filthy and the rear sunshade in the back seat was broken, which only added to the impression that the vehicle had not been properly inspected or readied for a customer visit. I also asked to see another model for comparison and was initially told that would be possible. The salesperson later returned and said the vehicle was unavailable because a manager had taken it home and it’s sitting in his driveway. After making a three-hour trip, this level of disorganization and lack of preparation was extremely frustrating. What made the experience even more surprising was the lack of basic hospitality. Not once during the visit was I even offered something as simple as a bottled water, something that has always been standard at the dealerships in my home state. When considering a $50,000+ vehicle from a luxury brand like Volvo, customers expect professionalism, preparation, and a higher level of customer service. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the standard I would expect from a Volvo dealership.
