But after I left, I noticed a scratching noise every time I drove over a large dip in the road, so I checked the bottom of my car to see that the cover on the bottom was loose and coming off. Turns out they didn't even bother to screw the bottom on properly after changing my oil. Half of the screw things were missing. Second time this has happened at this location. First time, I thought it was just my car because I had previous issues with it. But now I know for sure it's the location because I went to the one in Southside lansing, no issues afterwards. Went to this one, had a problem twice. Don't waste your money or time here.

- KKKristenSep 25, 20251.0I just paid Hub Tire in Saint John’s to inspect my car after this valvoline left it dripping oil after a simple oil change. The engine had to be cleaned because it was COVERED in oil and spraying everywhere. They looked everywhere, drove it, let it sit, no oil leaks. They just did a filthy job and it ruined my belt costing me another chunk of change to fix. Thank god Hub tire has honest employees who care. I went in with a great coupon and asked if they accepted it and he said very rudely “we’ll get to that later.” After turning down his sales pitches, he tells me the coupons they offer. Again I ask if he can accept the one I brought and he says I’ll scan it and see if it works. It works, he shrugs, hang the scanner up and never comes back. Turns out they have a claims line because this is so common. Valvoline left a seal open on a friends vehicle and the whole engine seized up and they paid to replace the entire car. Save your car, money, and time and drive to Saint John’s and visit Hub Tire. You WILL NOT regret it, but you will regret using this Valvoline. Hub tire even took pictures of the belt and text them to me in order to help me. See below.
