My business was told be a reputable repair shop that our '11 Ford E-250 Van that we use for deliveries probably had a scored cylinder and would need to have its engine re-built. Our CEO spoke with Chris at the Waterford location for the cost and to Mark at the Detroit location to schedule the work. The second day into the re-build, our CEO was contacted by Mark to inform us that while starting the front end disassembly, they checked the severity of the cylinder scoring by pulling the plugs. One bad plug was found and replaced, and it turned out the bad plug was the source of the problem. At our approval, they upgraded the plugs and coils then reassembled the front end. Our delivery van runs the best it has since getting it brand new for a fraction of what we anticipated to pay.
