This public EVgo charging station in Detroit provides fast EV charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on Renaissance Center, it’s near Applebee's, Subway, and City Market. The location offers 24/7 access and has CCS connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to view charger availability, track sessions, and view Time of Use pricing.
This location is far too small. Cars are constantly getting dinged, and some people park crooked on purpose, blocking others from charging. The space is so limited that there’s a long line of drivers waiting to charge every day. One of the charging spots even has shattered glass. A woman with a Chevy Equinox EV repeatedly hit my car with her mirror and door, and even security mentioned the parking spaces are too small.

Spots are way too tight, charging cords are too short. I dropped my charging adaptor trying to remove the charging hose from my car 😖
