I was very disappointed when I arrived via shuttle from the Detroit airport & the shuttle ride from the airport to the Enterprise location. I ordered a mid to full size care several weeks in advance. Their inventory was 5 vehicles (3 mini vans, a pickup truck, & a large motorized golf cart (Mitsubishi Mirage). It's just me. I don't drive pick-up trucks or mini vans, so I guess my choice was the motorized golf cart. The car was filthy (interior & exterior). I honestly do not think the car had a full tank of gas, but that's beside the point. I drove from Detroit Metro to Grand Rapids, & had to put gas into the car the very next day. I could not ever get the phone & blue tooth to sync. It was a difficult week. I retuned my car on Friday the 17th. There were two young boys that greeted me upon returning my car. I told them about my week with this Enterprise car. They were Lucas & Matt. They were very nice, good listeners, & were empathetic to my concerns. Lucas wanted to know when my next trip back to Detroit would be. He said he'd give me a free upgrade on my next return. I thanked them, & get further upset. I've been renting Enterprise cars there for 14 years. I think I deserved more.

I recently rented from Enterprise Rent-A-Car with pickup and drop-off at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), and it was hands down the best car rental experience I’ve ever had.
From start to finish, everything was seamless. The shuttle service was quick, the check-in process was incredibly efficient, and the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I was especially impressed with how organized and fast everything moved — no long waits, no confusion, just smooth service.
The highlight of the trip was the SUV I rented — a Jeep Wagoneer. It was spotless, comfortable, and drove beautifully. You can tell they take pride in maintaining their vehicles to a high standard.
Drop-off was just as easy as pickup — fast, simple, and stress-free. Overall, the speed, quality of service, and vehicle condition exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from Enterprise at DTW again. Highly recommend!

I've been a customer of Enterprise for at least 26 years. The firm has always had very nice cars. But I've had mixed experiences with employee sensitivity and courtesy, sometimes great sometimes rude. The debit card shade and hassles about proof of income have often caused me to choose another rental company. Once Enterprise here in Macon, GA cancelled my rental though I confirmed it with debit card, after they called a day before and couldn't reach me at the time. Luckily, I was able to find another car somewhere else. This time the service in Detroit was great. Obviously because I was flying in and out no excess scrutiny, no extreme deposits held on my card, very courteous, no proof of bills paid from my home residence because I used a debit card. The Nation of Islam had a wonderful 15% discount deal that was such a blessing. I don't smoke, drop crumbs in the car, always bring the car back full and strive to make sure the car or SUV is reasonably clean when I bring it back, as close as possible to the way I received it. It hurts that because of customers who steal, damage, smoke in the cars and do other unbelievable things, that I've sometimes been treated like one of them by Enterprise employees. I strive to be responsible for the vehicles I rent, make sure I do my due diligence with insurance so Enterprise doesn't take a loss, and I've rented probably more than most customers you'll see. Enterprise has great vehicles and the capacity for excellent service, but sometimes the employees can be cold and insensitive, and I think to some degree the policies as well. Good customers are really not shown the appreciation they've earned and get lumped in with all the sad cases of people who exhibit terrible, dishonorable behavior. Thank God, this time I had a good experience. Fadil Muhammad, Macon, GA

Michelle at Enterprise was absolutely incredible. Our car wasn’t back yet, and instead of making it stressful, she immediately offered multiple more than acceptable solutions and went above and beyond to make the situation right. You can tell she genuinely cares about taking care of her customers.
The woman who showed us the car was kind and informative, making sure we felt comfortable and understood everything before we left. And to top it off, the woman in the exit booth was so personable and funny. She made us laugh and sent us off on such a positive note.
It was honestly so refreshing to deal with an all women team, especially for something that can be as stressful as renting a car. We were in and out in seven minutes. No exaggeration. Seven minutes.

I hate leaving negative reviews anywhere but I feel like this is something that really bothered me because I work for a company that has a contract with Enterprise and when I rented a car it was very transparent that it would cost only $52 a day to rent. So when I was attempting to rent a car for one day the company website stated that they were sold out. When I pointed this out to an employee, after visiting in person, an employee told me that I should rent for several days so that I could actually obtain a vehicle. I did exactly what I was told and rented a car for 3 days. This employee told me that if I returned it the same day, I would be refunded for the rest of the days that I rented it because he stated, and I quote, "it's like when renting a hotel room, if you don't use the room you're refunded for it; they can't charge you for not using the room." So I returned the vehicle the same but at a different location, as per my order, and when I got to set location I was told that my total was actually $130. I could understand if taxes and fees made the total an additional 10 or 15 dollars but not an additional $70. I just cannot fathom that and of course, anyone would be unhappy.
