  It was one of those things, your driving down the freeway on a warm day and you hear something hard hit your windshield and you get that sinking feeling in your gut. I was on my way back home from yet another doctor's appointment. I thought I could see a small chip, but then, my car is 5 years old, it was in desperate need of a bath and new windshield wipers. That night, we got down into the low 40's upper 30's for the first time all season. My husband came out to take my car to work and didn't notice anything. It was a beautiful 80° day with another 40° night, the crack spread further. On this day we both got in the car, he was taking me (for the last time I hoped) to my surgical follow up appointment. My husband said his heard sank when he looked over, the little "chip" was now a long and traveling crack that was spreading diagonally across the windshield from the lower passenger side to about 3" under the rear view mirror. While we were on our way to my appointment I went online and started a claim because I knew this was going to be a full replacement and that was going to be costly. The insurance told me to call or go online and find the closest Safelite, schedule an appointment, once I pay my co-payment and any extras, they take care of the rest. So that's what we did. They were friendly, professional and I am so glad we went with them.

  Number one, it took me ten minutes to get a quote. What a process. Since when Safelite hire people that can't speak the English language. He spoke so fast and with such an accent, that I couldn't understand him AT ALL! I asked several times for him to slow down. Also, since when do they want so much personal information just to get a price quote. You get that info. AFTER I decide to do business with you. Never again. A note to businesses in this country...you service reps. that deal with the consumers, SHOULD SPEAK ENGLISH. Shame on you Safelite. I will NEVER call you again. All I need was a quick price quote and you made it anything but.

  Mason came to our house, called 30 minutes before he arrived, and had the windshield replaced and calibrated in about 1.5 hours! Very excellent mobile service!

  I don’t know why I waited so long!! Honestly, I feel silly for putting it off. My windshield got a small rock chip almost a year ago, and at first it seemed harmless. But one day I came back to my vehicle after just a few minutes, and the crack had spread right across my line of sight. Over time, it crept further across my windshield, and a pressure sprayer at a car wash eventually made it worse. It became such an eyesore. I hesitated to schedule a replacement because I knew my vehicle required recalibration, and I assumed the whole process would take all day. But once I finally made the appointment (on a Tuesday for Thursday), everything went so smoothly. I honestly should have done it months ago! The team at Safelite did an incredible job! No sloppy work, no excess glue or tape... just a clean, flawless installation. My windshield looks brand new. They even finished much faster than the estimated time. From start to finish, it was truly a painless experience. Safelite has definitely earned my trust, and I won’t go anywhere else for auto glass work in the future. The staff was so friendly and the work is exceptional. Highly recommend!
