  I had a vehicle that was not all that old, but out of warranty, and the engine blew. D & S explained to me the type of engine they replaced my blown motor with. It has been over a year now and is running strong. I greatly appreciate it, especially when it comes to spending this type of money.

  STAY AWAY!!! Save your time and money!!! Dealing with Mike and D&S was a complete nightmare. Spent over 7k on a rebuild and other work with them and the quality of their work is far below average. This place only cares about one thing...extracting as much of your money as possible. Some places should not be in business and this is definitely one of those places. I regret ever working with them and hopefully you can all save yourselves the future headaches.

  Do not take your car to Motor City muscle in Clawson. Mike is a really nice guy but they do really poor work. They had my car 1971 Monte Carlo for 4 months. I had just bought the car in December and did not have a chance to get under it to look for problems I took it to Mike. I found out later my frame had three to four cracks in it and needed to be replaced totally none of the work should have been done on it at all but I guess Mike just wanted the money. So they worked on my car anyway. They put a front end on my car and one of the springs that they replaced they put in upside down. When I picked up my vehicle from Mike I drove it straight to minor customs in Clinton Township they put it up on the Hoist and showed me that the rear end bolts that they put in a new rear end the bolts were loose I'm surprised it didn't fall apart on my way there from Mike's shop. They told me that work should not have been done and that the frame should have been replaced the first it my frame had three to four cracks in it but Mike just went on and did the work anyway. They had my car for 4 months. The work is very slow and very poor do not take your car to Motor City Engine Specialists D&S engine specialists in Clawson do not take your car there you will not be happy

  They were able get get my engine work done quickly and at a lower cost. We were told by another place that our van needed a new engine but instead of just taking our money, they were able to figure out that it needed a lot less work! They saved us thousands of dollars and lots of time! I would recommend them to anyone needing engine work! They were easy to work with and easy to reach and very informative! Great work and thanks again!
