    We’re five minutes to closing the open sign still on. They locked the doors early and said we’re closed well 8 PM is closing time is not customer’s fault that the store employees decided to close before the listed closing time and by the time I walked back to my car. It was 8:02 pm. For somebody has been a lifetime customer do better because you just lost a loyal customer.

    i purchased a car battery that I knew could not be installed by the store. The associate did not ask about help to my car, but offered a cart to push it because it is ‘heavy.’ While rolling down the bumpy ramp outside, the cart tipped and the battery dropped on the ground. I went back in for some assistance and it was another customer who jumped in to save the day. The clerk did follow the customer out, but it was the fellow customer that assured me the battery was ok AND the customer took it to my car! Never any word of ‘sorry that happened’ or ‘how can I help?’ from the clerk in the store. It’s possible this does not align with store policy, but it fell short of positive customer experience. It would have been nice to offer to take it out, drive near the entry for pickup OR to swap the battery out so I felt confident in the purchase. The helpful customer was so upset (I was a bit embarrassed instead) he said he may not return to that store anymore.

    I want to give a huge shoutout to Brandon at Advance Auto for going above and beyond to help me! From the moment I walked in, he was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I got the help I needed. I came in stressed and unsure about what to do with my car, but Brandon took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me exchange my part, and made sure I left with the right one. What really impressed me was how far he went out of his way — he even had a new part picked up from another store so I could get everything taken care of fast. He didn’t have to do all that, but he did it anyway, and it made a huge difference. You can tell he takes pride in his job and truly cares about his customers. It’s rare to find someone that dedicated, respectful, and helpful these days. Brandon made a stressful situation so much easier, and I’m extremely grateful for his help. Advance Auto is lucky to have someone like him — he definitely deserves a raise and a promotion for the amazing service he provides!
