- AVAlex VoigtJan 2, 20261.0Insurance had them replace my windshield after a three hour long wait I’m the last appointment of the day and I drive away as the office closes to my windshield squeaking and allowing air to pass through on the drive home. This is obviously unacceptable as that means that the windshield was installed improperly, this also raises a safety concerns of even operating the vehicle which I need to get to and from work. Will update depending on how this is addressed but for now I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.

- JMJulie MitchellDec 17, 20253.0Had to wait all afternoon given a window of 1pm to 5pm until 6:30 pm be told by the Safelite repair guy it was too dark out to the repair in my lighted garage .and would need to reschedule. His reason was he was called away from his assigned jobs in the morning to help with an Amazon van job on top of his assignments.So then I was forced to reschedule on Saturday after a snow storm to wait 2 hours for the repair at the Safelite businessr.I never got a good answer from him or the supervisor why I was not called that morning and told that he could not make it to use assigned jobs so I did not wait all afternoon for nothing. Safelite did a great job with the repair. I recommend going to the shop versus coming to your home. They don't bump you out of line at the shop. Again I was pleased with the actual work on the car in the shop and the how the receptionist handled all the customers in the waiting room.

From trying to schedule an appointment online, to it being nearly impossible to reach a live person on the phone, to ai bots, to being texted my car's glass was on a national backorder with no eta - which was false btw, to "unscheduling" my appt - just say cancelled already, to not being able to call a local shop directly, SafeLite is so out of touch with customers. Whoever designed their processes clearly has never had to have their car's glass replaced. Absolutely cannot recommend them.

Freaked out my wife and kids who didn’t know what was happening. The tech industry was pushy with my wife trying to push for a full window replacement when this was the first chip on the window and was smaller than the size of a dime. Not happy with this technician being unprofessional and pushy.
