I got approved at campers’s world but decided to come to this place because it was down the street from my home put down a $1500 deposit on Saturday didn’t receive a phone call from anyone for a week then I was told they forgot about me ask for my deposit back that took about 4 days Now after going back to campers’s world and purchasing the same camper I was going to purchase at RV Center I only had to put 500 down with the campers world they was not able to install a hitch for a few days so I called RV center to get a hitch installed I was told it would be roughly $1600 for this service I called U-Haul they told me it would be 490 for the same service the only good experience I had with RV center was the ladies at the front desk are very professional when they answer the phone And Tony, the sale guy deserves a raise very good salesman

We purchased a 2022 Yukon Dutchman that has been nothing but a nightmare. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of urgency, accountability, and professionalism.
1. Propane Leak. delayed response to a propane leak, took two months for this completion. The service department initially dismissed the issue. New damage to the propane door while in service I was told it was a “decaling issue” and that I was responsible for it. Note there was no issue with the door when I dropped it off.
2. Internal Water Damage-Recieved call unit ready to pick, However, during my walkthrough, I observed water on the floor. Another leak was discovered.
I requested a thermal test to ensure there was no mold or mildew present. I was told the test had been completed, I spoke with the service manager, who agreed to perform another thermal test upon pickup. After conducting the test, he expressed high concern about potential damage, which had previously been cleared by team.
Since the time of purchase, following repairs completed:
• Replacement of defective blower motor
• Repair to bedroom floor.
• cabinet repairs due to screws falling out
• Installation new thermostats
• Replacement of tires less that 3 years, despite the camper being stationary.
• Exterior decal peeling
This has cause Financial impact of a balance of $8500.00 for repairs most of this is service cost.
Seasonal Impact
Due to the unresolved issues, we have been unable to use the camper for the entire camping season. Seasonal Site $3550.00.
I have had to take multiple hours off work to return to the store for follow-ups and unresolved issues.
Lasty after repair to floor completed. I turned the heat back on to confirm propane smell was gone and the vent closest floor repair is not working. I was told again nothing more than they can do and it our issue to fix. This camper has been in service for almost one year and still not finished
General RV Brownstone has always been a very professional and caring dealership to work with. I was able to walk through and explore many campers with absolutely no pressure, and I found the perfect travel trailer for me and my family. We traded in our 2019 trailer, and the entire transition process went incredibly smooth. General RV truly knows how to take care of their customers and make you feel like family. Special Thanks to our salesman Kirk, Joe in finances and Amber.
Thank you for another great experience.

Our experience at General RV in Brownstown was nothing short of amazing! Kirk, James and Amber were all so helpful, not to mention everyone else. They went above and beyond, even troubleshooting a blown fuse in our truck and replacing it! We would highly recommend looking at this establishment when considering a new or used RV!
