If I could give ZERO stars I would. My husband and I attended the Frenchtown Township Miniature RV Show hosted by General RV, where we found a new model we liked and decided to purchase. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of unprofessional and frustrating interactions that left us very disappointed. We were initially paired with John Farley, who was incredibly rude to my husband from the start. When we discussed our budget and desired monthly payment, John initially praised General RV as a “family-owned company,” but quickly became hostile when we questioned the price. He told us, “I’m not sure what you think this is, this isn’t Monopoly money we’re playing with here.” This was completely uncalled for—this was our hard-earned money. At that point, we requested a different salesperson. Rick Moynihan stepped in, and we agreed on a number. We then spoke with Brandon Wylie about financing. Being a Sunday, we were told we would hear back Monday or Tuesday regarding loan terms. When the financing details arrived, an additional $10,000 in taxes and fees was added—well outside our budget. When I questioned this, Brandon asked irrelevant personal questions about my car, which had no bearing on our decision. After careful consideration, we decided not to move forward and requested our $500 deposit back. Despite repeatedly stating we were passing on the purchase, we were met with pushy, confusing communication, including claims of discounts that didn’t make sense and repeated attempts to convince us to proceed. Brandon went completely silent after I provided my card information for the refund, only responding inconsistently or with excuses like, “I got a new phone, and I don’t have our old messages.” After multiple attempts to get confirmation, I was met with condescending and snarky responses. At one point, Brandon said, “We processed the refund the day I told you we would. 2-3 days is always the rule of thumb in any transaction. Thanks. Have an outstanding day.” I had no need for a condescending explanation about what a refund is or how long it takes—this was a refund I requested weeks prior, not a lesson in basic transactions. Ultimately, the refund was only processed on 11/5, almost two weeks after I provided my information and ONLY because I made a gripe about disputing it with my bank. Our experience with General RV was unprofessional, pushy, and rude from start to finish. Between the hostility from sales staff, the confusing and manipulative financing tactics, and the mishandling of our deposit refund, we will never do business with them. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from General RV. I would not give this place a PENNY, even if I found it on the ground.

Chad did a great job working with me on getting the recall work done and also some repairs. He kept me advised on what was needed as well as when the repairs would be completed. Will continue to bring my RV to General for future repairs. Great job Chad!!

Everything was great the only thing I think that if I had a problem with would have been the time period of the introduction of the purchase and also the pricing was a little higher than I wanted to pay but I think we got a decent deal.

I purchased a motorhome from this company. I had repairs done at this company. I would never do business with them again they inflate their prices ridiculously poor service. My repairs took several months and were even delayed beyond that almost a year later before I got resolved. If you’re looking to buy from a dealer, go to Toledo
