They’re such a big corporation you can’t get through any human so I just crossed my fingers and went out there and had my ride. Follow me. I was about 40 minutes late. They said I had to reschedule so I wasted my time and my rides time. You’re better off going to a more locally owned place like auto one right near them where you can talk to an actual human that cares. These people did not care that I had to reschedule kind of had a grin on their face like it made them happy almost.
- CSChris StrandtDec 5, 20251.0I replaced my windshield at Safelite a few months ago. It developed a new crack, and I scheduled a warrantee replacement. There was no sign of damage from a rock. They claim, that because a small piece of glass was missing from a point along the crack that it was new damage, and would not honor the warranty. There was no sign of any impact, no spidering. The bit of missing glass was inline in the direction of the crack. I authorized the repair and planned to pickup the vehicle before their listed business hours. They called telling me I had to pay/pickup my keys by 3:30, instead of 5 (their normal business hours) because they were slow. I had to leave work for the second time in one day to handle this. Then, when I finally had 2 people to pickup the vehicle, we discovered they left the car unlocked sitting in their lot all afternoon. Horrible experience.
