Unfortunately, my experience with General RV of birch run has been horrendous. They do NOT fulfill their end of the deal and then expect you to still purchase the product. It is all the way around an operation that continues a bad faith service, without care for the consumer. I have been met with tactics like avoidance and ignoring direct requests to speak to supervisors. I have been talked down to and continually over talked. I have had an employee bad mouth me to another employee in the middle of the work environment. (David Drake). I have a $2500 non refundable deposit that I have been told will be refunded, that is now conveniently not being refunded. If this issue remains I will be seeking legal action against General RV of Burch Run. Unfortunately, I have recently learned in my three days of being connected with this company that these tactics are habitual and have been known to be a pattern.

Me and my fiancee came here for a travel trailer last weekend. We were not aware of the water main break beforehand, but they were all still very professional about it, I almost liked having to jump from trailer to trailer and being able to see the inside of very expensive ones that I would never go out of my way to look at. We found the perfect match after being shown only three from Alyssa. She knew just what we wanted and delivered that. The process was pretty quick. Joe was very informative. We picked up this weekend and Gary did our walkthrough, he was very thorough and told us the tips and tricks from his experience. I would 100% recommend everyone here!

If you enjoy being lied to and manipulated, this is a great place to go. I cannot stress this enough—these people will lie, lie, and lie again. The entire process is built on high-pressure, deceptive tactics. Here’s our experience: 1) We came in to look at campers. That part was fine. Found one we liked and asked for a quote. 2) An absolute trash panda comes over claiming it’s his “last day” and he has one final employee discount to give us—supposedly a deal so good we won’t leave. He comes back with… the exact same price you can find online anywhere. We call him out, he blames “the guy in the back,” then magically knocks $3,000 off because they “forgot” to include it. Important: The entire quote is handwritten. That becomes part of the scam. 3) We tell them we’re leaving since it’s our first day shopping. He immediately gets pushy and says if we leave, we’ll never see this price again. Total lie. 4) We get about 2 minutes down the road and—surprise—they text us dropping the price another $2,000. Now it’s $20k. Clearly the “once-in-a-lifetime” deal wasn’t so special. 5) We move forward, but when reviewing the purchase agreement something feels off. I question it, and the finance guy pulls out the same handwritten quote. This is where they get you: They lowered the price by $2,000… then added new fees to make it all back. Original understanding: $22k + $1,700 freight/prep Final numbers: $20k + $1,700 freight + $1,900 prep The “discount” was completely fake but I can not prove this at all at this point. Sitting there a week later, looking at their handwritten numbers, you start second-guessing yourself. It's exactly what they’re counting on. It took me a couple hours afterward to realize they likely added those fees after we left the first time. Its just hand written so they can add anything they want. This isn’t a mistake. It’s a tactic. I honestly don’t know how people operate like this every day. Advice to anyone going here: Take pictures of everything. Write down every number. Do NOT trust anything verbal or hand written. Not one person we dealt with felt honest. They all played the same game—blame someone else “in the back” while working together to push the deal through. Shady, deceptive, and honestly a pretty disgusting way to do business.

Very bad experience here. We bought our 5th wheel in February and they stored it until April 22. Issues that were discussed in February did not get fixed and we were told weren't on the work order even though our demo person (Drew) wrote them down witnessed by both myself and my husband. Manager Ricky informed us during a couple of different conversations that they were doing us a favor by storing the trailer, which was their idea in February as we were leaving town for a few weeks. Guess we were mistaken thinking we did them a favor by being paying customers. Picking up a new RV should be fun and exciting, not stressful and frustrating. We were first time and LAST time customers. Buyers beware.

My wife and I drove over an hour to visit General RV Center and meet with salesman Cameron Angelocci—and it was absolutely worth the trip. From the moment we arrived, Cameron was waiting at the front door to welcome us. He immediately made us feel comfortable by offering drinks and snacks, which set a positive tone for the entire visit. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions and really listened to our needs, especially as we were trying to decide between a 29-foot and 31-foot Class A motorhome. Cameron walked us through several options, clearly explaining the safety features, layouts, comfort levels, and suspension differences between brands. His knowledge and patience made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy and enjoyable. The highlight of our visit was test driving two different Class A motorhomes that matched our interests. The experience was incredible—it honestly felt like we were on vacation in Florida, cruising under the sun! My wife enjoyed it just as much—she didn’t stop smiling the entire time. This experience would not have been possible without Cameron’s professionalism, compassion, and expertise. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and comfortable as we prepare to make our final decision. A big thank you as well to the entire team at General RV Birch Run for their warm hospitality, welcoming environment, and genuine kindness. We felt right at home from start to finish.
