TL;DR summary- inconsistent customer service. Failed to report broken part (worked fine the day before). If elderly or limited mechanical knowledge, I would take your buisness elsewhere. I spent approximately $1200 here this month. The first visit, I bought (2) new tires. The mechanic reported I needed lower ball joints on both sides and a control arm on one side. They sent me a quote for the job which I declined for now. They did not mention that my vehicle needs to have matching tires due to AWD capability at this time, but I found it odd that I had to sign to acknowledge this on the next visit. Two weeks later, I get a flat on one of my old tires. I took the spare from the hoist underneath the vehicle and the hoist operated without issue. I scheduled an appointment to have the (2) old tires replaced. A 0900 appointment was completed in the early afternoon. The service tech called and said that I was out of alignment and their guy could get it fixed up today. I said sure, knowing that those ball joints and control arm were not replaced yet. Should have been a red flag but I opted to proceed. I pick up the vehicle and the service tech doesn't mention the suspension parts but quickly shows me the alignment paperwork. He advises me that because of the AWD capability, my tires should match (i bought the same tire with less than 100 miles between the two exchanges). No mention of anything else. I get it home, only to find that the spare tire wasn't placed back under the vehicle with the spare tire hoist. I wasn't happy but opted to put it back myself rather than waste more of my time. It bugged me more so thinking that they would do this to someone elderly or incapable of doing it themselves. The spare tire hoist, which worked fine the day before, is now broken. They didn't mention this on my paperwork or in person at pickup. I understand it is an older vehicle and things happen, but they simply needed to mention it. I called back up there to ask what happened and all I got was "it is broken so the tech couldn't put the spare back, you can come up here and they can show you if you want". I tried to explain to them that they should have at least told me, regardless if they found it broken or it broke when they tried to use it, but they couldn't even bother. I asked for a phone call from the manager and did not receive one.

I had four new tires installed and suspension work completed on 12/31/25. At the time of scheduling, I selected tire coverage and communicated that choice when my appointment was moved to the Belleville location. At checkout, the coverage was not reviewed with me, and I was not asked to confirm it. I paid and received my receipt believing the coverage had been applied. Ten days later, two tires were destroyed after striking road debris on Michigan Ave. The store confirmed the coverage had not been applied. I had to pay for 2 more tires! 6 tires in 10 days. I later contacted customer service requesting consideration due to the lack of review at checkout and the short timeframe, but I received no response. Disappointing to say the least.

Women beware!!!!! On January 5 I noticed that my tire was completely flat. After putting air in it I was able to slowly drive to the Belleville road location. Once there I informed staff that I had a (observed by a male counterpart) nail in the tire and that I needed it plugged. After sitting for 2 hours my vehicle was ready. As I was driving down the street my dash board was telling me that the tire pressure was still low. I turned around and was then informed that the sensor would reset after I drove for a moment. Okay. The very next day I walked outside and the very same tire was completely flat again. This time I was nowhere near an air pump and had to again slowly drive (this time even slower) back to the Belleville road location. Now I am completely frustrated because they “supposedly” plugged the nail hole. I make it safe and sound. The staff member goes out to evaluate the tires as they consistently do. This time he comes back and tells me that the tire can not be fixed…and that I cannot buy just one tire…that I need all four tires to match…otherwise I run the risk of blowing my transmission. My anxiety immediately shot through the ceiling. I expressed that I was not able to purchase four tires no matter what the risk was! Mind you…January 6th is the birthday of my deceased husband so my day was already emotional. Without typing every word of this experience…they made me feel like they were not going to do anything for me unless I purchased at least two tires. Going as far as to type and click around on the computer as if they were finding me the best price. Long experience short, I had to spend money I did not have…over drafting my account…so that I would be able to go and pick my son (who is in 2nd grade) up from school. Ladies…please take a male with you if you have to go to Belle tire! Or better yet, if you have the option, go to Discount Tire. As a woman I am able to walk in and get exactly what I need and ask for. They don’t use subtle intimidation as a tactic for sales and services!
