  Bob is a class act treats you how he would like to be treated. Good honest auto repair. Thankful I can trust Bay Transmission to shoot it to me straight. I will always take me vehicles here and recommend them to everyone good, reliable, honest work.

  Over promise, under deliver. Purchased a new transmission in 2018 which went from a week and a half to around 3 weeks. Brought in for shifting issue at around 70,000 miles and told it was still under warranty, after 2 weeks was told that it needed new engine mounts with no transmission diagnosis. After expensive engine mounts replaced, brought it back with same issue. No diagnosis and now told it was not under warranty, and “might” be able to sell us a kit to have it rebuilt, in which never became available. Each time we took it there including the initial purchase, we were never contacted as to the long overdue delays. Each time we had to call multiple times only to get more excuses and false hope. We finally went and picked up our car, never to return again. We tried very hard to be patient and understanding as good customers and it is unfortunate to be handled in this matter.

  Bob is a delight to work with! I wasn’t able to meet him until the day i picked up my truck, and he treated me as if he had always known me. On NYE my truck broke down over 200 miles from home. Over that weekend I dropped it off at a Bay Auto Repair (who were great as well) with only a note. They weren’t able to repair what was actually broke, and kindly had it towed to Bay Transmissions. With only being able to talk with me over the phone, Bob put so much work and effort into getting my truck fixed and returned back to me. On the trip back home, I had zero issues. I didn’t think I could become happier with the service i received, but the long trip proved otherwise!

  Bob was great and very professional, answers every question honestly and gives great recommendations and feedback with your car issues, I appreciate everything he and his crew has done. Highly recommend this place, will be going back.

  My Volkswagen Beetle's transmission was not going into second gear until it reached 40 mph. I had a long and difficult experience trying to find someone to fix this UNTIL I walked into Bay Transmissions. The Volkswagen dealer wanted to charge me over $8000. Bay Transmissions saved the day!!!!! They charged me a very reasonable price and my Bernadette purrs!!!!!! I cannot thank them enough for saving my car!!!!!;
