- DFDe FloresOct 28, 20251.0I have been going to the Belle Tire location in Aurbun Hills for years and have always recieved good service until today. This morning I couldn't keep air in my rear tire enough to barely make it to work so I came straight in after work around 5:40P. After explaining the issue to Tom, he advised I go home and keep putting air in it as they were at the end of the work day and needed a couple hours with my car. That struck me as weird since the place was empty and it was a pretty simple fix in the past. He advised I drop my car off in the AM and have one of my coworkers or somebody help me. I said 'How do I get back and forth if I do that?" He said he didn't know, Uber, Lyft, its not our(Belle Tire) job to worry about that. He also explained that tire issues are not convenient. Mind you, I was pretty even toned in my responses but he was extremely rude for no reason. The disappointment was real, I'd never been treated that way in that place before, I just nodded and left. I ended up at Discount Tire 10 minutes to closing, and they had me in and out in under 30 minutes. I also read through comments left by others in the feedback and have noticed many similar trends, alot of the times involving Tom, and according to the page he is the store manager. I typically am pretty faithful to establishments that treat me good and give good service so before this incident I would always bring my business to Belle Tire but now I won't be coming back anymore.

That is what appointments are for, not just to bring people in but to plan properly. Customer service was pretty bad today. And they hiked up prices. Time to look for a new shop. Higher prices and more wasted time, not a formula to keep this customer.

Not a huge deal, but worth noting. My real issue is the aggressive upselling and apparent lack of understanding when it comes to modern vehicle systems. I brought in a 2023 Mustang, and they claimed the rear wheel bearing was bad. I explained the car has an IRS (independent rear suspension) setup and had just been inspected by Ford's lead Mustang tech—no issues found. Still, they pushed back, saying there was "play" in the wheels, which is completely normal for this suspension type. I declined the unnecessary $600 repair. But when I picked up the keys, four techs surrounded me to argue their case again. It felt more like a sales pitch than a professional opinion. If you're not mechanically inclined, be cautious. The upsell tactics are real. Belle Tire should probably stick to what’s in their name—tires.
