- HHHTOct 13, 20253.0Went in today to exchange a starter and was told limited lifetime warranty only covers one free replacement. Then warranty is void after. That is highway robbery considering the starter costs over 300 dollars. The workers are not at fault, as a matter of fact I would give the workers a 5 star rating but the store warranty is flat out ridiculous. Ripping off the customers is Not the way to get returning ones. It should be warranted for life of vehicle not starter! Time to look for a better store for auto parts!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
