  June and I were interested in trading our 2019 Buick for a new car. Al asked us what we were considering for a car. We had looked at the Equinox for starters. We were shown two different vehicles. We discussed prices and after thinking it over over night, we returned the next day and buy the Equinox we wanted. The next day we picked it up.

  Dont waste your time! Not only did the salesman get an attitude when I came in with a pre-approval letter from my local credit union he also wasnt thrilled when I tried to negotiate. Instead of just simply saying “I’m so sorry I just dont think we can get to where you need to be today” he tells me he wishes I told him days prior before driving up because he has had multiple people he could have already sold it to. Talk about rude, just move on and say sorry we cant help you. The “multipe other people interested” scare tactic wasnt going to work for me and neither was the attitude. Certainly wouldn’t recommend others waste their time being treated like this.

  Central Maine Chevrolet is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. The salesman Tom gave us so much false information I can't even go into all of it in this review. One thing we were lied to about was the tires. When my partner told him the car needed new tires Tom argued and said "they were just put on 6 months ago". That was very obviously not the case because less than 3,000 miles later our tires were in the yellow and needed replaced. We wasted our money on the Simoniz because the first day it rained it washed off in the driveway and then it was useless after that. When I called to tell Tom that it washed off in the driveway he was very rude and said he doesn't know what that is in my driveway. I very recently found out they should not have given us a Simonized vehicle the day after it was applied. So it wasn't actually the product that was a problem but their procedure. We were told the car was undercoated by the previous owner but surprisingly I was not shown the video underneath the car as promised. When I was signing to paperwork I realized they had incorrect contact info for me so I told Tom and I also changed it on the paperwork. Later I couldn't access my loan online because CMM didn't update it. When I called and asked Tom to correct it he said it wasn't his fault and he had passed my info on. When I asked to speak to the person who needed to update it so that my loan info would be correct he told me, very disrespectfully, that they were not going to take time away from their busy day & customers for that. After the tire incident Tom was very disrespectful every time he spoke to me even though I was not disrespectful whatsoever. I requested to speak to Shad on a couple occasions but he would not call me back. One time Chuck called me back, in Shad's place, and said... "okay, so to paraphrase this; he was nice to you before he sold you the car then he was mean after he sold it." Thats how they deal with issues there. No resolution. I really don't like to have a negative impression of companies so I tried to give them another chance but it just didn't work out. I will say Jeff in financing is great! He was very respectful and explained everything clearly. Al in sales was also great ~ I just wish we had him to begin with. Unfortunately Tom & upper management left such a negative experience we will never be back. Edit: I'm not sure what "making adjustments" means but there was nothing done to resolve any of our issues. I had to fight just to get the free oil change Tom promised us when he sold us the car. And you would have been aware of the Simoniz issue if Tom would have taken the issue seriously and forwarded my complaint AND if Shad would have returned my calls. It was obvious Chuck didn't want to deal with any of this either.

  My truck was taken in early, was inspected, problems were found, prices were given, I was given options, I could make educated decisions, my truck was fixed in a very timely manner, and the total price was what I was quoated It was a pleasure to work with them.
