All I did is lift it up to do a final snow cleaning before getting the driveway got plowed. Wiper still very good. Just a couple years old. Remembered Advance Auto Parts 🏁 in Skowhegan, Maine store signage stating Free Wiper Blade Installation. Just about two miles from the house. Explained my situation and gave him the wiper. Yup, wiper still good & just need new plastic mounting hardware. Stacy pulls out two big boxes!! Keep in mind when you buy a pair, there are several types of wiper arm styles. Since they offer free wiper blade installation, leftover hardware is saved!! That is totally awesome. He found what was needed and replaced the one that broke and the other for peace of mind. I was not charged for this. Karma is a wonderful thing! Imagine if I was driving during a snowstorm on the highway and the windshield driver's side wiper let loose. Especially if a big rig drives by you and the slush hits your windshield. Thank God I was not put in that situation. A big kudos goes out to Stacy and Advance Auto Parts 🏁! Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
