  We just bought a Volvo xc 60 ultra and dealt with Mike P. He was so easy to deal with. We bought a car with him 3 years ago and did not hesitate to work with him again. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He does not pressure you to make a decision. We appreciated that.

  I had a great experience at Portland Volvo. I did a ton of research, and I spent months looking for a specific used electric vehicle. I would probably be considered a pain in the butt, but Mike Marchessault was my primary contact, and he was patient, friendly, accomodating, and just plain fantastic. Any time I had a question he could not answer, he wasn't afraid to say, "I don't know, let's go find out together. " It always felt like he really wanted to know as much as I did, and we'd get the answer. I picked up at the end of a day and found a nail in a tire. They didn't have a technician available to patch it, but they were accomodating about fitting me in quickly, around my schedule, and washed the car again, to boot. So I had both a sales and a service experience, and both were excellent. Thanks Mike!

  My wife and I looked at a car in the lot and took a picture of the price posted in the window as it was a Sunday and they were closed. The car was beautiful. We contacted the dealership on Monday and found the price was now higher and they would not honor the price per the Sales Manager. A few days go by and we decide we would pay the higher price lo and behold it went up again. My wife went in and they wouldn’t honor the previous price. We moved on and bought another vehicle. I feel bad for the poor salesmen they were great! Maybe this management technique works, but we will never step foot on the lot again. They blame it on market based pricing. Pretty sure the car is still there and it’s been a few weeks.
