Do not trust these people my mother tried to sticker her vehicle here and got a quote over 1,500 for parts and labor needed that were already recently replaced she denied the work knowing it was unnecessary than went over to VIP and stickered no problem and was amazed it was just denied.

I was a bonehead and went from registering my car and getting new plates right to the inspection station. I did not have time to swap on new plates or thought it was something that would fail an inspection. I waited 2 hours for a first come first serve inspection (no big deal) after a half hour of inspecting the year old truck I was informed I would fail my inspection because my old plates were still on the truck. No big deal those are the rules, but they could have mentioned the registration requirement as they checked me in and at that time I would have been able to change my plates out in the hours I sat waiting my turn. Instead of good customer service they informed me after they did the inspection it would fail and they would need to charge $75 to swap my plates or if I wanted to do it myself I would need to pull back around wait in line and pay for another inspection. While it was my fault this is no way to take care of a customer (former) and I will never be back. Beware this place will find anyway to take your money be prepared to get fleeced.

I drive for a gig work type company. Like Uber. One of my perks for being a Diamond rated driver is get 75% off oil changes through Car Advise.
This is the only place in my immediate area that does the Car Advise oil change discount so I’ve been here about eight times and get the euro synthetic change that usually cost $130 for less than $40.
Every time I’ve been in here they are so rude. Sometimes I literally have to stand at this front counter for more than 10 minutes while they’re looking at me from in the shop before anyone comes out to ask if they can help me. The first two times I was trying to figure out how to get the car advise discount and they just played stupid and were of no help at all trying to figure it out. This was a couple years ago.. Tgey just told me they don’t know how it works, but that’s a lie because they have a computer outback where they can see your car advise service request and approve of the work before car advise charges you.
Basically, you have to make an account and set up an appointment through car advise. You show up and approve the work thru a text from CA and then car advise bills you on your connected credit card instead of you paying the shop. I legitimately get 75% off.
Besides being rude, there’s one guy I’ve dealt with three different times. He just says in an annoyed tone that it doesn’t make any sense how I’m only paying less then $40 for an oil change that should cost $130.
I’ve tried to explain it is a perk, or benefit for being a diamond rated driver. You know, a reward for doing a lot of hard work and doing a good job . I don’t really care how it works or who is subsidizing it but I definitely get the discount. This is the same guy who would not help me figure out how to apply and use the discount on two other occasions. I think they really just want me to pay them directly so they get full price, but I’m not really sure. Regardless they’re super rude and sharp every time I’ve been in. No smiles. No thanking you for coming in. Just gruff and rude.
Also, when you make a Car Adose appointment for service, it schedules it as a timed appointment, even though it is walk in only service here. I know this and they’ve explained it to me five times when I show up and say that I have an CA “appointment” that they don’t do appointments, but that’s what car advise calls it when you request a service on the app. An appointment. So I’m not sure what they would prefer. I use for a word when I show up instead of appointment.
Went back in the other day and same thing. Was bluntly and rudely told they don’t take appointments when I told him I had arranged service through the car advised. The guy tells me they get people doing car advise discount all the time.. Last time they told me that most of them give up and just pay regular price because they can’t figure out how to get the discount through the caradvise app and their gig driving account.
I’ll keep going here to get my 75% off oil changed because it’s the only place I can use my perk in the immediate area, but I don’t like dealing with the sharpness and rudeness. They just always seem completely annoyed and bothered every time I go to get an oil change. Not sure if it’s just the way they are or it’s because I’m getting 75% off service they would charge $130. I’m not sure how much car advise is actually paying them, or if somebody is subsidizing my discount , but I pay for the service through card advise and not the shop. And legitimately get 75% off.
