Always super friendly staff, no upsale pressure, always get the right car, clean, gassed up, good tire pressure and ready to roll, and no hidden fees or upcharges. Also, their option to prepay the return gas tank fill up saves you money so long as you bring the car back under half tank, and esp. under 1/4 tank. Don't risk it with the other guys. They have bad reviews for a reason. Trust Enterprise.

All the other delays were weather related. If you need to reach the rental desk where you are picking up your car, you won’t be able to. Here’s the review I posted on the Enterprise site: When I called to speak to the rental desk in Portland ME it was impossible to reach that rental desk. Instead, the system kept re-routing me to an off premises person. I made 5 different calls. During the first 3, I spoke to a representative who did not speak English well enough to communicate effectively. Finally, when I did reach an effective speaker, he insisted that it was Enterprise’s policy that if I arrived within 24 hours, my rental would still be available at the same price. Good. But it is unacceptable that a customer is not allowed to reach the actual rental counter if the customer makes a phone call out of consideration for those working at the rental counter. I had many unavoidable flight delays due to weather. But the communication breakdown between the customer and the actual rental desk is unacceptable. Especially when the phone agent is insisting that it is POLICY that he cannot connect me directly to the place that I am supposed to pick up my car. As it happened, all turned out ok, but I would have had no recourse if I had needed to prove I had phoned Enterprise. Customer care should come first! POLICY is second.
