I have been coming to this store for years. I've spent thousands here. Plus the company I work at gets stuff from you too... I am an ASE World Class Technician for that business. I will no longer be coming to this store ever again. I don't care if nobody has the part in a 100 mile radius except your store and it's 1/2 price, I'll just wait and order it literally anywhere else. You could give me a $500 gift card and I would cut it up in front of you. I will also tell others about my experience and to never go here. I'm so damn mad I hope this location closes. The lack of customer service from the new Manager (Bigger Guy with Glasses) and Corey is baffling. These guys are on some form of Power trip.
I came in on (7/4) looking for some Diamond Grip Gloves, Brake Clean and a bunch of other stuff. Corey walks up to me when I told him I was looking for a particular box of gloves called Diamond Grip in XL and he hands me a box of Gloveworks gloves. I told him that those aren't the gloves I use. The manager is sitting in a chair to the left staring at something on the computer and didn't even acknowledge me. He looked like he was reading something. I usually deal with an older rugged gentleman with forearm tatts that used to work at AutoZone and now works at this location. That particular guy is super friendly and actually cares. He always tries his best to find what I need.
The older guy that I normally deal with hears what I wanted and walks out back probably 25ft straight from me and says something to me. I couldn't hear what he said so I start walking closer towards him to hear what he said and I cross the line behind the counter. At this point the Manager and Corey scream at me telling me to get out from behind the counter. I literally went 2-3ft closer towards the older guy so I could hear what he asked me because I'm hard of hearing due to working in a Shop for 20+ years.
They seen the old guy went to go help me and asked me something, but instead had some power trip about me walking past the line. This pissed me off. Instead of actually helping me or repeating what the older guy said they just yelled (Actually Yelled) that I can't go past the line like it's some Cockpit of a Commercial Airline. Nice Power trip guys! There is no sign that says employees' only past this point or yellow tape on the floor saying you can't cross. It's just some imaginary line they have in their head. The old guy came back up front when he heard what they said and asked what size glove I wanted. Literally all that yelling for what size glove I wanted.
I've been to this location a hundred times before these guys worked here and I've been behind the (imaginary line) looking at parts with an employee to see which part will work. I've used the bathroom at this location and actually was treated like a valued customer. That was good customer service. Not anymore...
How many Parts stores have a bathroom in the back of the store with a line on the floor showing you where the bathroom is? How many parts stores have a commercial counter behind or beside the DIY front counter? I've used the bathroom at the Brewer Advance Auto also. This particular store has pissed me off to the point to where not only will I not be buying ANYTHING from Advance Auto Ever again. If you only knew who I was and how many thousands of dollars in parts I replace every single week for a local Business. I will do everything I can so we don't call you.
As for the New Manger and Corey. You guys will do a great job running this new location in the ground. See how pissing off customers work out...
As for everyone else reading this. Literally go ANYWHERE ELSE. Your better off buying a Temu Alternator and risking it than dealing with these guys. You've been warned....

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
