- TTTen TenJan 15, 20261.0I have used JL in IL for 20 years. Many different cars over those years. My 24 year old daughter moved to CO and needed an oil change. During oil change they asked if she wanted rear differential service, after going back and forth she finally agreed. Next day, 7 miles later rear differential oil had emptied onto her parking spot. Ended up speaking to owner, Joe Griffin of Griffin Fast Lube bc I escalated a claim with 800 number. He towed her car 1/2 hour away from her home to his mechanic. They said it was a failure on our part bc carfax doesn't have service for rear diff and would not cover anything. No refund of her service she was talked into & certainly didn't take accountability for their failed work. They first said she ran over something. Their mechanic debunked that. Then said something inside broke off and punctured the casing after towed to their mechanic. It's disgusting that a 24 year old girl goes in for only an oil change, gets pressured into doing another service and they ruined her car!!! 3k worth of damage when nothing was even wrong with it. I absolutely would not let this store touch my car they will blame it on you after they ruin it and certainly don't let a young woman go in alone!!! The icing on the cake, I have to have my daughter's car towed back to her apartment. Gave me the address and said the car is here. What a horrible man!!!!
