Commercial team member Dor L., quickly picked up and diagnosed my issue and told me to come in. When I arrived, I was greeted with friendly professionalism and Dor L., found my part and replaced my wipers in no time. What a relief it was to see again! If you are in need of auto parts and want knowledgeable friendly professionalism, then drop everything and drive over there now! Take my word, you won’t be disappointed!

I luckily was nearby this location, so I was able to jump my car once more and arrive here without issue. Though as soon as I parked, it died again. I've been to different locations in the past for a battery replacement and it is really straightforward. Last night they were getting progressively busy (luckily I arrived before the wave of people coming in) and Mr. Joseph or Jorge... older dark skin gentlemen who really knows his car stuff helped me.. He didn't rush me, nor did I feel like he rushed himself. He tested my battery and made suggestions as far as what was the best battery to purchase for my car. I didn't feel like he was trying to get a higher sale, but better yet trying to take care of me and give me good advice as one would to their daughter, niece, or whatever. He worked on my battery replacement and even walked me through a few things just as an identifier of what he was exactly doing. He seemed really knowledgeable and he was really nice to me. The area is a busy intersection, and can be a bit questionable considering it's history.. but he made me feel safe and had me out the parking lot ready to go in a matter of minutes. Thank you again for all your help! This is why I continue to come back to Advanced Auto Parts, for the great service.
- MSMark SeidenJan 11, 20261.0web site claims they can install and register batteries. they failed to install a battery, didn’t correctly reassemble after the failed attempt and dropped a socket into the engine compartment. i had to call aaa to get outta there

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
