So I drop my car off today after having the car for 2 days . Got there half hour before my drop off time just for them to tell me my car i rented smelt like smoke . I don’t smoke at all . The employee who help with the return told me to go to the gas station and buy spray to see if i could get the smell out . So i did , just for the employee to tell me i made the smell worse . I asked another employee to smell and he said it was fine . Ending of the story they took my 200$ for a smokers fee . How could one employee say it doesn’t smell like smoke but another one does . Once again I DO NOT SMOKE .

I have rented a compact car from this Enterprise location twice since February, and both experiences were extremely disappointing . The customer service was unprofessional, and the environment was not conducive to a family-friendly atmosphere. Playing loud explicit rap music and one of the employee was wearing a durag at work was definitely different….(I love rap music, but blasting the explicit version at work??). Also the employee having very un professional conversation with inappropriate language without being mindful of the children in the vicinity. Overall nothing wrong with the rental car. More so the environment and professionalism, just loud and inappropriate.

My partner booked a car at this location (Auth Road in Suitland) but asked me to pick it up. He added me to the rental so I could do that.
When I got there I received nothing but attitude and rudeness so bad that I left and went down the road to Hertz.
Josh, the man who was helping me told me I was not on the rez and that he wouldn't give me a car (this was after he already gave me crap about not having insurance papers). He said I'd have to start a new reservation but I didn't have the proper credit card with me.
But even worse, his cell phone rings in the middle of it all. He picks it up and begins arguing with whomever he was talking to - sounded like his baby mama. I'm not sure but it was clearly a personal call and he's yelling. He stepped aside for a couple minutes.
There was no one else at the counter to help. So, I left.
And prior to the phone call when I asked Josh what his name is, he tells me real snotty-like, "Joshua, here's my card."
Wow, just wow.

My overall experience was good thanks to the young lady who assisted me. She ensured the car was clean, walked me through the entire rental process, and went above and beyond with her customer service. I truly appreciate her efforts and professionalism.
However, there were some aspects of my visit that did not sit well with me. I was raised to acknowledge people when entering and leaving a space, and I believe that basic courtesy goes a long way, especially in customer service.
On the day I picked up my rental, I greeted everyone when I walked in. The only person who acknowledged me was the young lady who helped me. The two gentlemen working that day, one tall with braids and the other shorter with a bushy haircut, did not respond at all. They neither spoke nor offered a simple nod, and instead continued singing along to music playing on their speaker. I chose to overlook it at the time.
When I returned the next day, one of those same gentlemen, shorter with a beard and bushy haircut, again watched me walk in without greeting me. Once again, I greeted everyone and only received responses from the same helpful young lady and another employee preparing cars.
As a former ERAC employee, I hold customer service standards in high regard and understand what is expected in a branch environment. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations, and I will not be returning to this location.
That said, I want to sincerely thank the young lady who assisted me. She made a positive impression, and I wish I could remember her name, kudos to her for excellent service.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Enterprise location on Auth Road. The level of customer service and organization at this branch was extremely poor. Despite having a reservation, there were no vehicles available upon arrival. A reservation should guarantee that a vehicle is ready, yet the staff seemed completely unprepared.
The branch manager and assistant manager appeared uninterested in resolving the issue and showed little concern for the inconvenience caused to customers. The overall attitude from the staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no sense of courtesy or urgency to assist customers who were waiting.
This location comes across as very disorganized and poorly managed. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend steering clear of this branch if possible.
I sincerely hope corporate conducts an audit or review of this location soon to understand what is happening and improve the level of service being provided.
