- AAAlonso AlsopOct 16, 20255.0I recently purchased a 2019 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid. I purchased the vehicle in Las Vegas and had it shipped to a home I have in Charlotte, NC. The vehicle had a charger update that had not been addressed. So I called the Porsche dealer there in Charlotte where I was told it would take a couple of days to get the parts and that I would have to leave the vehicle for a day or so. I decided to deal with the recall once I got back to my DC home in that I have other vehicles to drive while the Cayenne is in the shop. So I called Porsche of Silver Spring which had taken care of my previous Porsche over my last 40+ years of my Porsche ownership. I originally and luckily got in touch with Brian Romero. He immediately researched the recall and told me he could get it addressed the same day. I asked if I would have to leave the car. He said if I had a little time I could hang out in their lobby and help myself to their hot chocolate, cookies, etc. Which I did to the detriment of my waistline. Even though the vehicle was just in for an update on the charging unit, they did a full inspection on the vehicle and sent a video text message of what they found. In this inspection they found a coolant leak which is in its early stages but will eventually lead to a more dire condition. They immediately gave me an estimate. Repaired the recall. Hand washed the vehicle and put it back on the charger. UNBELIEVABLE the service these guys give. So thank you Brian Romero!! Great job. Also special thanks to Elvis Nguyen and Kofi Bediako who were also instrumental in making this recall an enjoyable experience!! Again great work gentlemen!!
