I am from Las Vegas, NV and bought a used $70k Corvette remotely. I accepted the deal the night of January 15, spoke with financing on the 16th, but the lack of communication with Ben in financing, it wasn’t until the 19th that he said he submitted the paperwork and told me to sit and wait for a notary service to contact me. After 24 hours and no contact, or reply from Ben, I had to go online and find the contact information for this notary service just to find out the documents were never submitted. It took me another six hours of trying to contact Ben until Desirea had to sit in front of Ben and watch him submit the paperwork. I even tried contacting the general manager by email and phone with concerns and no reply. After the financing, John really had no interest in helping me with any more concerns. Luckily, I was able to schedule the notary on the 21st but that is when I found out that Ben had spelled my last name wrong on a form and had to make them email me the form so I could print it out and mail it to them. The next day on the 22nd, I paid for my shipping and was originally told by John that if all of this was before the 23rd the car should be shipped on the 23rd. With more lack of communication from the dealership I had to research and find the shippers contact information to see if it would be shipped out on the 23rd and they said that that was never the case. I then had to wait for a winter storm to blow through starting on the 25th which, of course was nobody’s fault. Every few days I would ask John if there are any updates on shipping but was constantly brushed off. Luckily, the shipper was very courteous and kept me up-to-date with everything later. And on February 6 is when the car finally shipped. I’m sure things would’ve been much different had I bought this car in person, but personally, I would never go through this process remotely again with this dealership. Once they had me locked in, they didn’t really care much and put me on the back burner. The only person that truly helped me at any moment was Desirea Jackson, without her I would have definitely snapped. I would like to thank Allen for also getting Ben to do his job along with taking over the shipping portion. I’m still shocked that the general manager never replied to one voicemail or email after raising concerns about financing not doing their job and dragging their feet. This process should’ve been so much smoother and more efficient. I wish them all the best of luck and mainly wanted to put a spotlight on Desiree Jackson for all of her help and going above and beyond.

Second visit to BMW of Silver Spring and unfortunately both experiences were terrible. During my first visit, my X7 was returned with what looked like an engine oil stain that was not there at drop-off but dealership claimed it was there but that irrelevant, It was only cleaned after I pointed it out at pickup which could have been cleaned before pickup.
After leaving a review, the store or service manager contacted me, apologized, and in his words “I will throw in a detailed wash on your next service visit.” Based on that, I deleted my review and gave them another chance.
On 2/4/26, I returned for an oil change. I informed my service advisor Ann Baker about the detailed wash promised by the manager and she said no problem. Ann called me and said my car was ready but the detailed wash would take about 3 hours and I said no problem. I picked up the car in the evening around 6PM ET and had no reason to inspect it at the dealership and given it took over 3hrs. Once I got home, I was SHOCKED and EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED by the condition of the vehicle. The “detailed wash” was a joke for lack of better words.
Overall, very poor service and broken promises.

I’ve purchased multiple vehicles through her, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything is handled the right way. Her professionalism and attention to detail are second to none.
On the service side, Joy Chilcoat is equally exceptional. She treats every visit with care, communicates clearly, and always makes you feel like a priority. It’s rare to find a service advisor who is both proactive and genuinely invested in the customer experience.... Joy absolutely is.
