- DHDav hirMar 22, 20261.0I usually change the oil myself but I was moving to NJ so I figured I’d come get it done at Jiffy for the convenience. Just got under the car 5k after this Jiffy and realized they tightened the bolt so much it’s completely stripped. And I shit you not I just put a new bolt on 1 oil change prior to jiffy lube so I know it’s not me being negligent. Not only that but the filter is on so tight I couldn’t use my belt adapter and had to go buy a specific oil filter ratchet. Doesn’t matter regardless because the bolt is stripped clean so ima have to find a shop that’s willing to tack weld and take the thing off. Guess who’s paying for it ?

The guy came out to my car to let me know the bay I was at door was broke so I went to the other bay and he told me I had to get out and leave my key in the car. As I got out he was getting ready to shut the door with my key in the car. I said the door will lock if you shut it. In sarcasm tone he said oh it will oh I didn't know that. He walked me to the lobby where I would wait for my car to be done. Another guy came in the lobby and asked me to come out and put my information in the computer. As I walk out with him all I smell is Marijuana. The other guy was smoking a vape and tripped and knocked the trash can over. I asked him was he okay and asked what was he smoking he never answered. I put my info in the computer and went back in the waiting area. The guy who was smoking got in my car to try and turn off the maintenance light and couldn't do it he had to get help from his coworker. Work is work and what you do on your free time is your business. Jiffy Lube you all need to get it together. Lost customer.
