Don't forget to ask about coupons. With the prices going up (not their fault, so don't shoot the messengers), do your research on discounts. Be advised that not every location accepts the coupons you find. I had a $15 one that was not valid but they gave me a $12 to replace it, which was very nice of them. Onto the next 5,000 miles

First time I came for an oil change the guy said they were having computer system issues and couldn’t take any customers at this time .(That part was understandable). Then he proceeds to berate his regional manager in front of me about the situation and it made me feel very uncomfortable. Second time, I try on a different day to stop by for a top off this time. Same guy comes up to my car but instead of the super friendly reception I typically receive at all Jiffy Lubes when I pull in, he makes an annoyed face and asks what I need. Typically after telling them what I’m in for, they usually ask me to just put the car in park, leave the keys in the ignition and head on inside to the lobby. This time, this guy made me reverse out of the queue, park to the side and had me pop open the hood. I was taken aback by this experience and let him know my discomfort. He then made condescending comments about how this is the way he’s always done things. He leaves for a moment (I assume to go and get oil) and I’m so uncomfortable by his actions. So I close my hood and let him know I’ve got to go with no explanation. I drove up the road to the Jiffy Lube on Frederick Road and Gude and they greeted me, took the car into the garage and I was out of there in under 7 mins. Crazy experience! Not sure if this gentleman is just having a bad day, but my second experience with him and he’s not very professional. I hope he’s not a manager in any capacity. Will always travel up a little up the road to the other Jiffy Lube.
