  I am writing this review with mixed feelings but I needed to address what happened. I made a reservation on Feb 3rd requesting a full size SUV (I.E Tahoe, Expedition or something in that size range for February the 28th pickup. I needed space for 4 adults, luggage and a German Shepherd service animal. On February the 27 I received a call from Enterprise that I would be getting a Dodge Durango for my trip. My whole reason for asking for the bigger SUV so far in advance was to make sure I got what I needed. I was told that there were no Larger SUV's available but the one they were giving me was comparable. My issue is they called me the day before my trip to tell me this. I either had to take what they gave me or decline the rental. Where am I going to find a replacement the night before my trip? The representative was courteous and tried to convince me that the Durango was the same as a Tahoe. This is not a reflection of the employee treatment of me. I assume he did what he could do at the time.The Durango is a nice vehicle but smaller than what I asked for. My passengers had to ride with suitcases in their laps because the back area was full. I don't understand why I could not get what I wanted with so much advance notice. I have a local business in Prince Frederick Md. and I always give local business the first opportunity when I need something. This just put a bad taste in my mouth dealing with Enterprise. Again, the vehicle was nice for its size but not what I ordered and the Representatives were very cordial. I would suggest in the future that when a vehicle is not available that advance notice of more than a day would be a huge help. Please do better. People review my business all the time and I respond to all of them and when one is less than favorable I do what I can to make it right by the customer. Nick G

  Vaughn and the entire team at the Prince Frederick Enterprise are excellent! They go the extra mile to make sure you have the right vehicle at the right time. No ride? No problem. They can organize a pick up and even will pick up your rental from the shop you left your personal vehicle at. Thank you for everything!!!

  While staff was always very pleasant and accommodating, how the company functions is marginal. They did not have my insurance reservation in their system the day I was dropping off my car at the repair shop. Once I had that resolved, and rescheduled my day in order for them to have a car for me later in the day, when I called from the shop, they only had large cars available, for which there would be an extra charge. When I refused to accept that, they had another car delivered from another location. It was white and very dirty, and they said they were not able to clean it because their car wash was shut down due to cold weather. The weather was above freezing during the day and below freezing late at night, but apparently they chose to shut down the car wash full time. When my repairs were done, I notified them in the morning that I would be returning the rental to the shop in the afternoon. When I received my statement, I noted that they had billed the insurance company for an extra two days. I happened to hear a lot of Enterprise radio ads while I was driving the rental car. Their claims of timeliness and cleanliness do not match with actual service delivered. As a small business owner, I resent that their policies are to make extra money by failing to provide promised services, trying to force the customer into renting a more expensive car, and then cheating on billing the insurance company in the hopes that the customer will not notice and report the billing "error." In my business, we have to actually provide the work as promised in order to get paid.
