  The lady I think her name was Jordan had a really bad attitude. She showed me the dip stick which showed it was at least a 1/2 quart low - she said no it’s good - didn’t really let me say a word then opened the garage door. I was going to tell her I was a former ASE master automotive technician- attended the GMASEP 2 year technical program and worked as a master full time for 6 years - my car is a 1/2 court low but I could barely get a word out. This is a toxic employee. Toyota says Full synthetic can go 10,000 miles or 12 months - why do your stickers only put 3000 miles or 3 months? You guys are a huge scam. Never coming back here again.

  BEWARE OF VALVOLINE!!!!! I took My 2012 Volkswagen Jetta for an Oil Change on 01/16/2026 at the Owings Mills Location. They did the oil change and 2 days later I noticed Oil Spills on my driveway underneath the vehicle, I went to my Shop (Certified) that works on my vehicle and they determined that they installed the Oil filter Wrong and that the oil pressure sensor and oil filter housing was also damaged due to the Oil Change service. I went back to the location in Owings Mills location and spoke to the Location Manager who told me to put a claim to their headquarters. I filed the claim and meanwhile my vehicle was not drivable and had to be towed to a shop. After the diagnostic by a certified mechanic it was determined that due to the oil change not being done correctly the Oil pressure Sensor, Oil Filter housing was damaged and needed to be repaired and this would destroy my motor. I submitted the mechanic's diagnostic report plus pictures taken from my driveway and I got one phone call back that the received my claim and I should hear back from them. It's been 3 days now and after calling them they claimed the vehicle had leaks before and that they wouldn't pay for the repairs but will refund me the oil change amount. I asked to speak with someone to discuss the grounds of why they determined that and they told me I would hear back from a district manager who has yet to reach me, they NEVER call, nor email. This HAS been a very unprofessional experience from a big company. PLEASE Pay extra attention if you use their services for oil change or anything because they don't take responsibilities of any claims and am no left with a DAMAGED vehicle that I have to pay for a Large BILL due to their FAULT... BECAREFUL!!!

  Kevin and Damien were AWESOME!! They both explained everything and were very patient with me, which I appreciated so much! I had gotten an oil change at Firestone in Towson (0/1000000, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND) about six months ago and came to this Valvoline because I was due for another one-Damien explained to me that “what probably what happened” at Firestone was that someone removed the oil filter cap (it shouldn’t have been removed), removed the spring inside (might have been lost), and didn’t tell me about it! Kevin and Damien explained the oil filter top/part would need to be replaced before he could change my oil—-something I would never had known if he hadn’t checked!!! Anywho- I had a very pleasant experience tonight and I appreciate these men so much!! THANK YOU AGAIN💯
