I looked to see if oil was spilled and checked my oil why was it low. Called the place claim they would investigate and get back to me. Well I called them and the said the video showed they gave me an oil change but why am I smelling something burning. Im going to go back and get this handled. My car wasn't like that when I bought it to them . I should've just stuck with Firestone this is ridiculous and I spent $77 . I had the nerve to tip the girl . Never again. I will keep everyone posted. If they don't figure this out I'm filling a claim against them. You can't take people money and mess up there cars

- RARobin AdamsOct 28, 20251.0I have found this Valvoline facility in Owings Mills, MD to be deceptive and dishonest in there work performance and communication. One of the service techs showed me my transmission dip stick with now transmission fluid on it. They said the transmission had no oil in it. I asked would they top it off. I was told no, but I could pay for a transmission flush and refill at the cost of over $200.00. I said no. I was then told I had a oil leak and transmission fluid leak. I did proceed with the oil change only. When I left the Valvoline I went directly to my personal mechanic to check the transmission fluid level. When he pulled the dip stick once with motor off and with the motor on. The dip stick had full fluid level showing. My mechanic said Robin if the transmission had a leak why is the dip stick marker showing full. I believe the Valvoline service mechanic wiped the dip stick before showing it to me so that I would scared into getting a transmission oil change. This behavior is a form of lying, deception and a try to coerce me (customers) in buying additional products and services. I understand the practice of upscaling but not by lying and coercion. I called first to the Owings Mills Valvoline to speak with the manager to voice my experience and complaint. She said she would speak with her team. I informed her that I would take this further. I called in a verbal complaint to Valvoline's Customer Relations department about my experience. It was stated that I would receive a phone call from the management office for customer relations. I did not. I believe it would be a good idea for me the report this to the department within the State of MD that handles these types of complaints.
